The 6-3, 338-pound behemoth is set to visit the Tigers on January 24 in what could be the end of his recruitment. He took an unofficial to Miami this past weekend, but as they pressured him for a commitment, he made it known that he wasn't in a position to give them one at that time. In fact, we have learned that Miami trails LSU significantly at this stage of the process with those close to him calling it a done deal for the Tigers. As we have all learned this recruiting cycle, there is no such thing. However, LSU appears to be in great shape at this time.

I agree doesnt sound like someone who doesnt want to go here. i know if it were me and someone crossed me who i loved, i would want to here what they had to say way before we had any official meeting date. Hes a Cane and i believe he will come here. His actions show Canes all the way.

It's all about whether he wants to take an extra foreign language credit that Miami requires but LSU doesn't, has nothing to do with GPA.

If this is true F our administration. Honestly we should have the exact requirements for athletes as everyone else.

Burn the program to the ground if this ends up being the reason we don't get TV. He is the beast DT we have been waiting for, most important recruit in Golden's 4 years here.

I think him showing up this week to talk with golden and see his potential future teammates was a plus for us.

I would have liked to have been the picture frame in Golden's office during that sit down.

If UF can put the full-court press on Brandon Powell during the dead period, Al should at least be allowed to speak with TV on an unofficial visit. These rules are baffling sometimes.
