The key to this game, for BOTH teams, is Stephen Morris. Total wildcard. If the "good" Morris walks off that bus, Miami wins. If Jacory's second cousin twice removed shows up...we get destroyed.

Look no further than that gentlemen. No need to overanalyze....Morris has the potential to be the best player for EITHER team on Nov 2nd.

Morris can play a great game, and if our defense comes out flat and let's Jemima go off, then we could still get shredded. Obviously, if Morris plays like a diarrhea puddle like he's been playing we stand no chance. That's a given. You cats can try to discount the emotion factor of a rivalry game, but that's just nonsense.

Typical internet foolishness. It's pretty obvious that if Morris plays a great game we stand a much better chance of winning. If he plays like he's been playing we stand no chance. I think everyone can accept that bit of football genius.

No one can predict turnovers. That's Ms. Cleo crap. But you can get a read on how you think the emotions and intensity and other intangibles might flow based on experience with this rivalry. And I like the way it's setting up for us. If you think these games are played in a vacuum and that emotions and intensity don't play a MAJOR factor in rivalry games, then go ahead and cling to that novel approach.

Agree with the Chise. I noticed Morris focused much better in that last drive against NC.Its as if his posture and demeanor changed. I expect this team will play as well as it can against FSU and it will be a close game. WE were up by 10 on them last year and they wore out our Dline. But we are much better on the line and at DB than last year. Winston looks pretty good but isnt very mobile . Clemson blitzed but mostly up the middle and it didnt work. I expect we may zone blitz out of the 3-4 to confuse Winston on those short curl patterns.

If we can't get some steady pressure with our front 4, then we're probably in for a long night. The minute you start selling out with blitzes guys like Green eat up that single coverage. You give Jemima any time with those receivers, and you'll get carved up. He's proven he can throw extremely accurately with no rush on him.
