Upon Further Review: 20 Fall Camp Questions

Thanks for the write up @Lance Roffers. It's weird that we have so many questions even tho we return so much. A big culture change and proper coaching could make the difference between 8-4 and 10-2 or maybe even 11-1. This season really needs to hit double digit wins for the momentum to stay positive. The team needs to walk the walk.

Excellent statistical work as always. However, if we win 9 games that would be under achieving yet again. Of course, 9 wins would pacify Blake James but certainly not anyone else. We have a 24 year old QB, a ton of production returning and we play in the worst division in P5. Manny has no execuses left and must take the next step.

Lol worst division in p5. Big 12 has no divisions and pac 12 south is not better then acc coastal.

D'Eriq King I saw last year was not a great thrower. Good yes. He missed on way too many throws.

Agree. I think we'll be fine on the outside with Keontra, Steed, Huff, Cave et al.

But Lance's analysis of Flagg and Jennings show why I wanted a MLB portal kid so desperately. I know Flagg will take a big step in his development with a full year in the program. But is it enough for him to get to the play with the necessary velocity and force, and make the tackle? Also, can he hold up for the whole season or even for an entire game. You have to believe Jennings is going to be first man in. So there's a lot not to like at that spot.

Everywhere else I feel we're looking like a real Miami team. We're going to see some great players and plays this year!

I hear that. Last year after flagg made that one tackle against pitt and a lot of people here were talking him up, I started focusing on him almost every snap he was in. I could not believe what i was watching. He failed almost every play i focused on him. After months of him being praised on here, i finally had to speak up and call out those posters. Why were people happy about that kind of play. Could not wrap my head around it. I got called out pretty viscously by some posters early on.. Remember someone called said, " I must be slow if i think that". ha. Anyway, good to see my eyes were not failing me. Dead last in the ACC amongst LBS. yikes. At this point, i'd actually much rather have Jennings play.
