Scouts think he’s playing out of position as a tackle — will play guard at the next level. 6th-7th round grade right now, could help himself coming back and working on his “stiffness” as was put to me


Matt Lee - Late/PFA grade right now and Miami pushing hard to get him back. Trusts Mario/Mirabal obviously. Getting him back would be absolutely massive

Simple. I already see Denis and Sagapolu leaving for sure. Probably Washington too. If Samson doesn't win the starting LT job will he be sticking around? Well if he does it's probably a waste of NIL.

If Rivers and Lee return, Kinsler and McCoy could be lineman 8/9 up... That's certainly in portal territory if like Bell walks right in ahead of them and Samson wins the starting Job. In that scenario the competition then becomes about iOL...

I think this is likely. Depends on how Samson heals up, progresses in S&C, and adapts to a larger role. Right side is definitely set though.

Bell, while a monster, had some concerning habits in his film that I saw. Knee bend wasn't great, but he's also 6' 10". Foot speed and coordination was iffy, and he was a waist bender/leaner in his blocking. Needs to improve his punch too. But great tools to work with.

Wow Bell at LT, Rivers LG, Lee C, Cooper RG, Francis RT would be amazing. With guys like Kinsler/Samson off the bench.

That is a MONSTER Line and probably one of the biggest in college football.

Real talk, forget football. How is Zion doing in general? I hope he is excelling in the classroom and adjusting to a new life without playing football. Is there any desire to maybe follow in Mario’s footsteps and become a grad assistant perhaps? Its a shame to see guys dreams cut short. I still remember going to Miami vs Florida in Orlando and folks just talking about his bright future.

No idea. Would be cool to learn more about him, this journey he is on and all he has had to go through. I am rooting for him though. Just trying to have empathy. One minute you are playing major division 1 football on a national stage, projected high pick and then gone. I have sons. That sucks.
