Chatfield is a regular undersized JAG, that's only a 4 star bc Nesta was on the line beasting.

Unlike with Bandy, he has no unique skill set that separates him to the point where he has some rational argument to make as to why his "dream school" didn't offer him a year sooner.

He was jealous bc Nesta, Surtain, and TC had offers immediately and poor ol Chatfield was on the outside looking in.

Hes soft, I don't care if he commits to Miami I'm still going to think he's soft and will never start here.

I wonder if all the other Major D1 programs that offered him also think he is a “jag” like you do. He has one thing you can’t coach and that’s instincts, put him with Kool for 4 years and he will be productive player at Miami.

Here's the thing: From what I've seen, Chatfield has an incredible motor and plays with great aggression. But he is undersized. Bull&hit he's 220+ lbs. He is smart to realize that he fits best in a 3-4 defense.

I really like the kid and hope he dons a Canes uniform, but I would not be mad if he chose to play some place else. Hopefully he's smart enough not to step foot in that UF cesspool. I wouldn't wish that on the kid.

Either way, I think he'd be a huge asset for us as the second coming of Toolbox, but I will not lose sleep over this one come Wednesday.
