Where are you seeing 15? AP poll put us at 14, dropping 6 spots. They had Ohio St drop 5 and Clemson also drop 6.
But we started at 8th in AP. In the CFP rankings we started at 6, therefore dropping 6 would put us at 12. Now B12 champ may be outside top 12, so that 11 spot is really the one that matters.
So if we drop 5 spots, we are not looking too bad IF SMU wins. I mean again it’s 100% about where Us, Bama, South Carolina, and to a lesser extent Ole Miss are ranked. If Clemson loses, one of these 4 is in CFP.
Last week CFP dropped most schools who lost 5 spots but dropped Bama 6 cause their loss was to OU who had 1 SEC win up to that point and is 6-6. Colorado dropped 9 but it was a big Margin loss and their 3rd on season. And imo the committee is clearly saying they think the B12 isn’t good.
The week before they dropped UTenn 4 spots for losing to UGA. They dropped BYU 8, but was back to back losses, and again they don’t respect the B12.
When we lost to GTech we droppped 5 spots…. So like I said hopefully that repeats. Dropping 5 we still have a shot. Dropping 6 would need like a B12 school to be 11th…
