Up to #8 in AP, up to #7 in the Coaches poll

AP cannot be taken seriously by anyone....and anyone that does is a moron
completely out of place in 2024 and beyond.
(cfp just as stupid if not worse)
go to records and divisions - we're expanding playoffs again next year - end the political bs of the cfp.

Whelp, the pollsters were waiting for this moment to come. Their wet dream came true.

I can live with it.

But, Notre Dame? 😂 Guess that loss to NIU at home isn't remembered anymore.

I hope the AP realizes their opinions mean **** at this point anyways

SEC SEC SEC
It means as much as our win against Florida.

Genetics, trying to get back in our good graces...

we've been higher in the CFP than in the polls. I think were 12 and all dependent on Clemson SMU
Yup, we’ll see. CFP has copied AP for the most part other than our slot last week. We’ll see if anything changes, because the committee valued our ability to win close and finish games strong.

We undid all that. I expect to be punished.

We’re only ahead of Ole Miss by 8 votes too. Behind SCAR by over 50 votes.

As it stands according to
The AP:

Miami: Loss to the 23rd Ranked Team on the road + 1 Unranked team on the road

Wins: Louisville/Duke are now considered top 30 wins + UF is a top 35 win according to the AP. 2/3 were on the road.

Alabama: 2 Losses against Unranked teams on the road + 1 loss to 6th ranked Tennessee

Wins: Vs UGA (top 10 win) Vs SC (top 15 win) LSU (Unranked), Vs Missouri (top 25 win)

SC: Losses Vs Unranked LSU + Losses @ top 15 Ole Miss + top 15 Bama at home.
(Loses head to head against Bama/Ole miss)

Wins: Vs Unranked Texas A&M, Vs top 25 Missouri, @Clemson

Again I think it’ll be Bama Vs Miami and that means Miamis offense Vs the Bama defense.

#15 in the AP.

No chance we’re getting in if that’s where the CFP slots us.
Where are you seeing 15? AP poll put us at 14, dropping 6 spots. They had Ohio St drop 5 and Clemson also drop 6.

But we started at 8th in AP. In the CFP rankings we started at 6, therefore dropping 6 would put us at 12. Now B12 champ may be outside top 12, so that 11 spot is really the one that matters.

So if we drop 5 spots, we are not looking too bad IF SMU wins. I mean again it’s 100% about where Us, Bama, South Carolina, and to a lesser extent Ole Miss are ranked. If Clemson loses, one of these 4 is in CFP.

Last week CFP dropped most schools who lost 5 spots but dropped Bama 6 cause their loss was to OU who had 1 SEC win up to that point and is 6-6. Colorado dropped 9 but it was a big Margin loss and their 3rd on season. And imo the committee is clearly saying they think the B12 isn’t good.

The week before they dropped UTenn 4 spots for losing to UGA. They dropped BYU 8, but was back to back losses, and again they don’t respect the B12.

When we lost to GTech we droppped 5 spots…. So like I said hopefully that repeats. Dropping 5 we still have a shot. Dropping 6 would need like a B12 school to be 11th…

Typo, 14 is correct.
