Per Nike: Miami will also keep its traditional and iconic white helmet with the split “U” in rotation, giving the Hurricanes three different helmet options.
 
They would be so sweet on a new style helmet with simply just the u. The clam is enough on the shoulders.

I hate the clam, too. But I actually think it works perfectly on the uniform where it is this go around. It looks like the profile of an ibis and its wings, which works nicely on the side shoulder there.

However, not a fan of the clam background on the helmet, if that's the case here. Why the **** would you not put a grey Sebastian back there with the U over it? Instead of the ******* clam? Or just always wear the traditional helmets with these fire uniforms, and I'm good with that, too.

I haven't bought a new jersey in a few years. Looks like its time to upgrade. The hurricane logo imprinted on the shoulder is pretty sweet. It's subtle but a really cool touch. I can't wait for these to go on sale!
 
Clam on the shoulders looks surprisingly awesome -- nice detail. Orange jersey is definitely the worst (and storm trooper the best), but orange jersey won't look so ridiculous if it doesn't have orange pants at the same time.

Its the "clam" as you call it with the ibis integrated into it. I can't say there is a single thing about these uniforms I don't like. Absolutely amazing job by Nike.
