Luke has been a fan his entire life. He helped put Miami on the map. In the 80's and 90's Luke made it fun to attend Miami. In every video he had on Canes Gear. Even his former artist such as poison clan and trick daddy repped the canes hard. UM's style of play and Luke's music was a perfect match.
Fans love to call him an idiot for saying what most of this board say everyday. The notion that speaking negative in the media is bad for the University but running to one of the most read sites bashing players and coaches which are read by the media and recruits is any better. With the advancement of social media, do you really think we are the only ones who read the comments we make on this site? Luke just keeps it real and we should appreciate him for being a voice for our frustrations. We were calling him an idiot for his comments before the Louisville game until they kicked our teeth in and layed down like some suckers. When flat out got punked like some sissies.
Expecting people to forget how the system treated African Americans is not easily done. **** as fans we think because our players are black that most come from the inner city and are poor. We naturally assume that to be the case. stereotyping is still alive and strong.
He's an idiot with a sense of entitlement. I can't think of one good reason as to why he would randomly show up during a recruiting visit weekend. Even if it was to support one of his former players, who does that and then splatters it all over twitter?
Visit some other weekend if you have to feel important.
Luke is always on campus.
so he shouldn't act like a jackass and tarnish the reputation of the school because he was asked to leave during an important recruiting weekend since he was violating recruiting rules. show some loyalty. Seems to me like he has a personal agenda.
Lets keep it real.
The only thing tarnishing our schools reputation is continuing to get beat down on national TV. We did not have this many beat downs during probation.
