UNC Loses Three For Season -2 Defensive Starters

I know we say this many times, but running the table with our schedule is not out of the question, I have no doubt that we are more talented than ten teams on our schedule and the other two are rivalry games...

Sans those two rivalry games, UM will be favored in every other game.

umm we need them to lose some on offense.

Their offense is prime to carve up the acc this year....and i have NO FAITH in No Frio vs Fedora battle.

They scored 18 points against us last year. Our offense lost that game (and Morris' ankle).

This. I don't believe that we need to be worried about North Carolinas offense. I went to several games last year back when I was living up there and Giovanni Bernard was the majority of their offense. He was a complete all purpose, every down back. He had nearly 100 catches the last two years for them and not to mention the bulk of the carries. I think they will struggle filling his void, not to mention I don't believe their offense was ever scary to begin with. I think If our defense holds them to 18 again this year, we should, (should) definitely be in good shape to finally beat the tar heels like we're supposed to

we might of did the best job on them...and we gave up 500 yds.

We get schooled by UVA's qb EVERY year....to be honest unc Renner is almost Morris level..their considered on the same tier by many

Gio was UNC's Duke Johnson. Any way you slice it he accounted for the majority of the TarHeels offense and special teams. We are discussing preseason at the moment and on paper UNC is not some offensive juggernaut. They also lost 3 SR Wr's and 3 starting OL as well. We return 10 starters on defense and should have beat them last year with Gio. If we have improved on defense at all I like our chances.

I just want everyone to stop with these automatic wins because what we did in the early 2000, the last 5 yrs ,How many have we won ? .... Gone are the days of us just getting on the field and kicking teams to sleep .... They are contenders ..... Lets be real they were the real winners of the division ... every season is different. if you have been so scorned by all of our beloved canes that you cant be at least a little optimistic when it seems times are getting better than maybe you should pick up a new hobby.
