UNC Loses Three For Season -2 Defensive Starters

Yup season is almost here. Happens every year, when the season ended, a good season was 9-3. Last month many said 10-2 was achievable.

Yea had you gone to the game you would have seen a very dominated oline and dline ..... The score may not have shown it but we were dominated that game glad everyone is stronger and has more experience ...

was at that game and all i saw was bad football on both sides. domination is the last word i would use to describe that game.

Doesn't matter. If Golden can't distance himself and the program from a lower tier team with a default coach this seaon, he doesn't belong here.

Last year's UNC game was deplorable, and was on the same level as Shannon's performance against Clemson in 2009.

Yeah, it's a thursday game (the horror) and it's a long walk from the locker room, and UNC is bad, etc. We have heard all the excuses before. What I want to know: Can Golden field a team that can beat a bad team? (UNC would be last place in the SEC, B12, and probably all the others)

Took two moronic decisions from Morris...a terrible call on a two point attempt...and losing our starting QB

Morris seems to make many moronic decisions, when faced with any defense better than average high school level. That is what worries me this year.

We had issues with the kicker that game as well and went for 2 4th downs in scoring territory. Alot went wrong that game.

It definitely was brutal to watch. UNC had only 2 threats on offense, Bernard and Ebron, and we had no answer for either of them. Gio seemed to get a first down on every single touch.

Their offense is prime to carve up the acc this year....and i have NO FAITH in No Frio vs Fedora battle.

I dont think it will matter much as i expect them to sling the balla round a sh*t load with Renner. They have two legit te's....and some solid wr's in Sean Tapley (a kid we recruited), Quinshad Davis (a big wr).

They are a team i thought last year we could of beaten by double figures...and yet we got gutted by like 2 people....with basic sh*t...now their qb is primed...and they will dictate to our defense...some of u really need to go rewatch that game....

Any team that goes 4 wide consistently im scared shtless of with our dc.

UNC on offense is going to be a problem but i dont think their passing game is what beat us last year.... to me it was obvious that we couldnt stop Gio Bernard at all. He was bouncing off of our defenders left and right killing us that game.

i just think we lost that game when Morris got hurt, i thought he shouldve just got back out there on one leg and tried to finish that final drive imo but i'm not even worried about it anymore.

I went to several games last year back when I was living up there and Giovanni Bernard was the majority of their offense. He was a complete all purpose, every down back. He had nearly 100 catches the last two years for them and not to mention the bulk of the carries. I think they will struggle filling his void, not to mention I don't believe their offense was ever scary to begin with. I think If our defense holds them to 18 again this year, we should, (should) definitely be in good shape to finally beat the tar heels like we're supposed to

we might of did the best job on them...and we gave up 500 yds.

We get schooled by UVA's qb EVERY year....to be honest unc Renner is almost Morris level..their considered on the same tier by many

This will be a tough game, but I think our team will be much better than last year. and that's all around! who cares about last year, if you have not seen the reports from camp this year, our team looks much different.
