Joseph's defense is some of the best I've seen from a UM guard in years. He gets right up on his man, fights through picks, and is quick enough. 80% of defense is desire, and he def has that too.

His D is what gets him minutes. His O is a work in progress, but I like the way he runs the O, he's a pure PG, not a combo guard.

L is going to bring him along slowly, wants him available for ACC Play. Beverly is a solid on ball defender, can handle a little and most importantly of all: KNOWS HIS ROLE. He's comfortable being one of the guys.

Hadn't seen that outside shooting accuracy in previous seasons. If this is now part of his game, love it!

Coming out of HS, we was a scorer with a decent stroke. The problem is that with a bad back, it affects your jumpshot the most.
