I hope everyone noticed what we had our DL do there at around 3 minutes in the 1 quarter.

Lu, please do tell.

Mccord in on 1st down. DL slanted hard. Maybe the staff decided to mix that in a little. Would be funny to those saying that it's mostly on talent. The coaches wouldn't be making implicit admissions by trying out the exact things some are asking for. It's a POSITIVE. All in all, for me, it's HOPE. Because, it would mean we're willing to adjust.

They probably read your posts and tried something they never thought of before.

I've always said they're not dumb and argued against people calling them idiots. So, your smartass remark and Big Sky Cane's funny "like" are idiotic. What I've said is I'm hoping to see evidence that they're willing to adjust. The second I saw it, I mentioned it and discussed it. It's better than closing myself to an opinion, as apparently you people have done on the other side of the discussion.

I posted just above your response......it was similar to Zawalski's post, so you probably won't like it. :)

what a terrible kick

Yeah, tell me about it!

No scheme is going to look good when your front 7 can't generate an ounce of pass rush. LB's are either slow or take themselves out of plays with bad angles.

Part (not all) of why we can't generate a pass rush is because of what they're asked to do. It's good to see them trying out the other alternative. It shows they're willing to see if they're wrong. The sole fact of them willing to see if they're wrong is a REALLY good sign.

Agreed.

I can't accept counterproductive stubbornness.

I can accept that they believe(d) in something that ultimately wasn't the right thing, for whatever reason.

Credit coach Golden for unearthing TWO incredible punters in 3 years here.

It's not perfect (never is), but this is the type of offense I expected and knew we were capable of all year.

When we execute, which has largely depended upon Stephen's performance, we're very dangerous and well above average.
