No matter what happens today, I'm happy. Win or lose, the type of progress I hope for are the signs that we're willing to adjust and continue to grow. We're going to get better talent for sure. If we're loose and flexible with our approach, the sky is the limit.

No scheme is going to look good when your front 7 can't generate an ounce of pass rush. LB's are either slow or take themselves out of plays with bad angles.

Is there ANY chance that #52 stays for his senior year?

Im guessing he's a 2nd 3rd round pick today.

Alright, so as long as we play teams that make more mistakes than we do missed tackles, we have a chance -- if their defense stinks too.

Lu, please do tell.

Mccord in on 1st down. DL slanted hard. Maybe the staff decided to mix that in a little. Would be funny to those saying that it's mostly on talent. The coaches wouldn't be making implicit admissions by trying out the exact things some are asking for. It's a POSITIVE. All in all, for me, it's HOPE. Because, it would mean we're willing to adjust.

They probably read your posts and tried something they never thought of before.

I've always said they're not dumb and argued against people calling them idiots. So, your smartass remark and Big Sky Cane's funny "like" are idiotic. What I've said is I'm hoping to see evidence that they're willing to adjust. The second I saw it, I mentioned it and discussed it. It's better than closing myself to an opinion, as apparently you people have done on the other side of the discussion.

You did ask for it by playing the guessing game/I told you so instead of just pointing out the adjustment.

I was excited to see it. I look for indicators of future success. We showed an adjustment. Made me excited.

Agree LuCane .There is no quit out there. We have some talent deficits on defense that will be fixed in the next 2 yrs .The future is bright.

Ive seen more coaching "wrinkles" today than I have all season.

Its almost like I wouldnt be surprised to see a tight end running a route BETWEEN the hashmarks. :)

Why do the Blitzer run straight into the blocks? Drives me nuts but were up 24-7 so f**k it...... ()_()

Part (not all) of why we can't generate a pass rush is because of what they're asked to do. It's good to see them trying out the other alternative. It shows they're willing to see if they're wrong. The sole fact of them willing to see if they're wrong is a REALLY good sign.
