D just needs to keep attacking. coach D got schooled on that screen into a blitz after a timeout. Foolish move on his part. I can only guess he thought FSU was gonna run some form of reverse/ slow developing trick play.

If we had a DC we legit could win this thing.....u can't play two gap 3-4 and also have horrendous predictable blitzes. They'd be better suited running the same coverages and play 4-3 single gap all gap without blitzing. It's incredibly tiring to watch at this point.

He does. I'm happy about that. But acting like this defense is playing well is a major stretch. We are getting destroyed on 3rd down and murdered in the RZ. Not a formula for winning.

I'd rather a system that forces less TOs but also doesn't give up countless easy drives that force you into hoping for a TO.

I completely disagree w/ those blaming Donofrio. He has had them in a few 3d and longs, where poor execution has allowed FSU to sustain their drives - eg highsmith blowing the pass in f'n cover two; our blitzers not being able to get Winston despite being in position to make a play.

He's gotte get em off the field. His style has held up on down 1 & 2 but his 3rd down package and play calling hasn't done it. Plus its also about coachi9ng up players. AQM & TMccord should have gotten the control your rush and stay under control speech against Winston before the game.
