Grades...tryna see where he can get into now
Never understood why high school football players with multiple power 5 offers slack on grades.... I mean **** they could have a 4 year all expense paid scholarship to a major university and have all the tools necessary to make them a better football player so they can attempt to make the NFL and they can't even get a C average when the teachers make it extremely easy on them.

Committed early on in the season too with enough time to focus on the test...didnt focus on the test. Didnt take the test as many times as could...typical s.fla stuff.

People would focus more on what they wear to prom/homecoming than sat/act test dates. You can only tell em so much to focus on that stuff...after awhile it just falls on deaf ears.
Me personally i try to tell these kids to take it (sat/act) junior year spring...that gives you enough time to

That's really sad.... These type of kids need a role model or something. I would imagine he's going to have to go the Juco route

We need more stand up brothers like you.

Saw this kid tweet about possibly giving up football. I hope he stays with it, really talented kid that could really be one that slips through the cracks. Best of luck to him

Actually they should take the test in Nov/Dec of their Junior year and then again twice in the Spring of their Junior year. That would give them 3 test scores before the summer of their senior year. More than enough chances to get the score they need or even an idea of what they need to improve.

Juco or Prep. Unless he can find a school that would accept him with the current test score. I would rather him go to a prep so his clock wont start...anybody got any ideas of prep schools that are legit throughout the country?

The only one I've ever heard of is Palmetto Prep Academy in South Carolina

Somebody had told me there was an accident on that street couple weeks ago. Didn't know it involved him.
22nd avenue (Ely Blvd) is a tough street because the line of sight crossing is tough going east-west and people do speed down it going north and south.

Only accident I've ever been in was crossing that very same street, literally one block over (on Green street) from where this accident happened.
Crept out as much as I could without being in the intersection to see both ways, saw nothing, and pulled out into the intersection and all of a sudden BAM. Somebody coming northbound on 22nd like a rocket ran right into me and spun me around. Fortunately

On both sides of 22nd avenue the trees in the swale, cars parked in the swale or even buildings that almost come up to the street, make it hard for people, no matter the direction they're going, to "see around the corner". Doubly so if one of you is speeding.

Hope he's mentally alright from this and can get things back together for football and in general. I know some of his family. Comes from some really good athletic genes. The lady was taking care of her 95 year old mother by herself too. Just a sad situation all the way around.

Shouldn’t his current test score be fine with the Covid waiver going through this year?
