If we don't get Davonte Brown I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Pough.

I'd rather we go back after Hodges, but it appears that ship has sailed.

I was wondering how long kid with stick with rutgers.

Sure gogeta may have some scoop here.

Davonte Brown pops probably played with Shannon, so maybe that's UCF angle? Also, Delancey not feeling the fake offer/backburner **** LCE? Or do we have a shot there.

Delancey/Pough are close for me, I liked tough better thru junior season tape, but Delancey right there. All these kids close imo...It really, really is amazing that none of them feel Mike Rumph, an ex-nfl player with a ship ring at UM AT ALL...Like none of these kids jump? He is that much of an awkward dude? Or does he play too many games with them

He was supposed to decommit awhile ago. It was kind of a place holder commitment. I doubt we recruit him though.

Guys who use Rutgers as placeholder commits don’t get me excited. That doesn’t boost your rating and means options are limited.

grades...weird recruitment as well. Rutgers wasnt his best offer or anything...Louisville wanted him pretty bad as well.

Then i'm staying away even more. On top of the Rutgers thing, I'm not risking an IC on a kid with grades issues with us so tight on numbers.

If Louisville was a true and better offer, staying with Rutgers made no sense unless he felt he might get dropped by a Louisville type school. It's one thing if he was an unknown local Jersey kid committed to the hometown school and once finally noticed, a bigger school comes in and takes him (Jonathan Taylor comes to mind). This kid is Florida kid who chose to stay committed to one of the worst programs in football. The optics are tough for me.

Wasnt really focused on recruiting like you would think he would be. He may end up at Fiu or somewhere like that. Louisville wanted really really bad but he didnt have much interest.
