UGA/ Kirby Smart Recruiting- Concerning?

Georgia's class is not better than ours by any means.

It is rated higher because of recruiting service bias.

Isaiah Wilson is not a better prospect than Vaughn Donaldson; however, Donaldson is a 4 star and Wilson is a 5. That is strictly bias.

Robert Beal is not a better prospect than DJ Johnson; however, Beal is a 4 star and Johnson is a 5.

Our class is generally the same as theirs.

Lol ok buddy

I guarantee nvhoes will start at least 3 more threads similar to this thread before NSD; dude has some mental problems and for some odd reason he can't seem to not create threads with similar topics. Maybe he wants comments that can assist him solving the hurricanes great recruiting mysteries.

You have lost it my good man and now you are in the bargaining stage.... we know which stage is up next.

UGA has several Bag Men, and Miami doesn't.

For the first time in 30 years Coach Mark Richt is having to recruit without the benefit of Bag Men to grease the recruiting wheels. Add to that the offensive product on the field has been suspect an he is having growing pains in recruiting players. But hopefully he will get is fixed over the next few weeks to finish strong.

Go Canes

Seriously you can't believe that Richt can't recruit without bag men!... Lmao stick to find recruits. I hate when you add in your kamikaze theories it just adds on to the notion that you have some challenges.

So then what happened with Miami's WR & Oline recruiting this year!

Come on big mouth share your wisdom on why Miami missed on so many prospects!

the same thing that happened with WR recruiting when he was at UGA.

AJ Green and nobody else?

I'm not the recruiting coordinator nor am I am conspiracy theorist like your *** is!. I can't speculate that is what people like you spend all your life doing. That is why you are treated the way you are.

So according to you, the reason why we are struggling to recruit WR and OL is because we don't have Richt's UGA bagmen. So that is your final answer?

FACTS below. Only Florida recruited better than Richt between 2002 - 2013.

Richt built that program and at a time when the $EC wasn't some other worldly conference. Let's stop all the nonsense.

No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs
AVERAGE NATIONAL FINISH: 7th (7.4 to be exact)
BEST NATIONAL FINISH: 3rd (in 2002).
WORST NATIONAL FINISH: 12th (in 2010).
TOP 10s: 11 years out of 13.
TOP 25s: All 13 seasons.
THE SKINNY: Georgia has been remarkably consistent, thanks to a talent-rich home state and no true recruiting rivals within those state boundaries. Obviously the Bulldogs must fend off recruiting attacks by the adjacent states’ top schools, but all in all the program hauls in the talent. It can consistently find itself nestled within the national top 10. The Bulldogs are on their way to another top 10 finish this year, and just secured the country’s No. 2 overall prospect last week in in-stater Trent Thompson.

Keep losing to GT and he will be gone soon. Their Offense was worse than last year and their D wasn't anything special.

So using that same theory, Golden's classes were as good as Richts when the situations were flipped.

Interesting.

Richt isn't some beastly recruiter..I never thought he was. Uga owns that state and have their pick of whom he they wanted , add to it the bagman..and he still didn't recruit that we'll their imo. I like richt for his stability, and overall knowledge, recruiting was low on the list for me..I expected this..we aren't winning and aren't in the bible belt.
All someone has to do is look at HurricaneVision's pre-arrival list of Richt's historical recruits. He does well at a couple positions. He shows a lack of flexibility at other positions. He is neutral in other spots. It matches the general approach. Trying to make Coach Richt something he's not is setting ourselves up for failure.

Our best bet is to do what he did on defense, where he rolled the dice with a high risk-high reward coordinator and complemented him with a highly technical monster in Coach Kul. I just don't see that happening on offense because that side of the ball is comprised of "his guys" (son, Brown, etc.).

We're in purgatory till we bust out with some meaningful wins.

Kirby strikes me as a serious Corch. I doubt he has any meaningful success at Georgia regardless of the recruiting classes he brings in. We all witnessed that story before, aka corch Butch Jones reeling in amazing classes and stinking up the field like porta potty after a rave.

To say it's not better is crazy

The OL DL and DB classes they are getting is pretty sick

Their actually turning away 4 stars like Tony Gray and Latavius Brini

Kirby Dumb is one the worst coaches in all of D1 football. and he is also a low IQ hillbilly just like Muschamp. He will fail regardless of all the talent.

Some people for got Richt brought in come rockstar classes at UGA......and not just AJ Green

The inevitable "Our players are better just because" statement. Why are the UGA commits not better than Vaughn and DJ?

Just looking at Hudl:
Wilson is taller and outweighs Vaughn but is still a solid OT. He also plays NT which is why he's a 5* imo not because of bias as you would like to believe.

Beal is faster than DJ and projects more as a 3-4 OLB while DJ is more of a 4-3 DE.

Our class is not the same. UGA has eight top 100 players committed compared to our two. They also have an 85% blue-chip ratio compared to our 23%.

All U have to know about Kirby as a corch is the end of the Tennessee game. He has only 3 men rush. Yet Lorenzo Carter, who is the best pass rusher on the team, is standing at the back of the end zone 60 yards away from the pass. He may as well have been in the stands. Maybe he was in man coverage on Larry Culpepper.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think Smart will do well at UGA.

I think he's better than Muschamp, and I think they'll win the East next year.

From what I've been told, Kirby is a great recruiter. Connects well with the kids and parents.

And can y'all please stop with the "bags" excuses?!?!?

It is what it is. Miami boosters don't care enough to play at the level some others schools do. Accept, and move on .... Or, stack your paper and fix it.

But griping about it in every recruiting thread is a loser approach. It's lame as ****, and speaks to that inferiority complex Golden mentioned. That might be the only thing he was right about ...
