Every town needs a paved road unincorporated area, a dirt/mud unincorporated area, and a few well-run drag strips.
It keeps the streets safer if you let people thrash their cars at will in places like this.
I had one. I can testificate as to their power and mine was bone stock with the 707 HP.Honestly, they’re too much for 95% of drivers. My Uncle owns two of them. He has professional experience drag racing in the past and was absolutely floored by how powerful they are right off the showroom floor. A quick pulley swap on the supercharger and a minor computer tune and it ran a faster 1/4 mile than his old 440 Super Bee (which was a real race car, not street legal) ever ran.
32 over? **** surprised you weren’t arrested! The absolute worst. Georgia and Alabama
We drive to PCB every year in July and we've went a few times in other months. So probably made the drive 10-12 times and been pulled over between Atlanta and Dothan 4 times and got 3 tickets. Everywhere from 7 over to 32 over.. only 1 other ticket at any other point in my life.
Why should they? He's paid to win games. He's not their priest, babysitter, or father, or cop.Mike Gundy literally just said his star back got a dui and he is not going to punish him. Literally joked about it and said he’s going to make him carry the ball 50 times in a game. These coaches dgaf about anything except wins
I'm no lawyer and I def didn't spend the night at a holiday inn express but how does a school get held liable? Are schools going to be required to check everyone's driving record? all students? Know what I mean? Like, would the school be held accountable if it were a regular student? To me they'd be held liable if they provided the track that the kid crashed up and got hurt vs he's out on the street and crashes. All that being said, if there are codes of conduct to being a student and they ignore that, all bets are off.How long until one of these guys kills someone on the road and a lawyer gets a hold of the case citing all these incidents and the school doing little to nothing about it. I am willing to bet the school will be getting held liable then in a hefty lawsuit.
Facts.. I have a gt500 and I really need to get away from it.Not everyone who can afford a Hellcat should buy a Hellcat.
Perhaps because it’s much higher profile and has apparently been throughout the news showing quite the history of this behavior. I’m an engineer, not a lawyer, but I’m sure there’s a greasy scumbag lawyer somewhere that could make something stick, perhaps an out of court settlement to keep it quiet. From my engineering perspective, analyzing the data, this looks to be more of the norm, than an outlier. Don’t know, simply an idea….I'm no lawyer and I def didn't spend the night at a holiday inn express but how does a school get held liable?
