Ufomba Kamalu could be the key to our Defensive Line.

He is a combination of wilfork and sapp. he will easily get 14.5 sacks his freshman year.

If he's really that good, we should redshirt him along with all other D-lineman that show any potential.

No no no no no. you play him as a freshman and sophmore and redshirt him as a junior.

you are better than this man. come on.

you're underselling him. Madden said this is the only kid (other than DJ Williams) that could have jumped directly to the NFL out of high school.

what does tracy howard run ?

Probably about the same time(s) 1st round pick Joe Haden runs: 4.57; or 4.6 if you want to round up...

A tenth of a second out of a track and field block doesn't mean the world, in the world fo football! Still amounts to 1st round money if you know how to play!

You might be right, BUT I believe you can redshirt him for his Freshman year and then use another player's redshirt on him for his Junior year. That's what another poster on CIS told me that is VERY connected at FIU's athletic department.

There is no room for common sense in this discussion sir

This isn't a knock on the OP but I remember a year ago the same exact things were being said about Moore, Ivey and Briscoe.

I recall the predictions about Moore, Ivery, and Briscoe being tepid at best at this time last year. Peter did say that Ivery looked good in a set of goal-line situations in practice, but that was during fall practice drills in late August.

Haden is a legit NFL corner because he has the attitude to go along with being plenty capable athletically. Howard is very similar in his approach. Howard just needs to keep hitting the weights and get the body to match his mind and he will be just fine.

Ufomba Kamalu is shaping up to be the best defensive lineman on this team. This kid will be the key to the defensive line this season. If he takes the next step, as sad as it is, Chick will be a backup.

If we get some play from OP like with did be back half of two seasons ago, and if #93 and Wyche can clog up the middle we are going to be much improved.

Chick has played every snap for two years. You really think Al Golden would put him on the bench his senior year? Besides why couldn't they both be out there?

Side note, Malcolm looking like he is getting back to form. We have overrated our WRs time in time out, but I think this is the year they come through. We have a legit #1 finally and arent asking guys who just arent #1 types to be so. We have a senior to stretch the field as our solid #2, and a bunch of guys who are more than talented enough to be third options. Very excited about this going into the fall....
