Hey guys...sorry no link, but it's on ESPN.com. I'm on an iPad and I'm not savvy enough to link it.....so stop with the **** "negged" crap.

Unless you've been under a rock you know Florida had to reel back their spring scrimmage plan due to a significant amount of injuries on the oline. They also held out Matt Jones, their pegged starter at RB, for supposedly having a great spring. they probably didnt want to risk injury to him. He was a top recruit from the Tampa area a few years ago and is listed around 6'2 226. Freshman Kelvin Taylor ran for 59 yards on 11 carries with a patchwork oline against supposedly a talented Dline.

Driskel was 9-20 for 70 yards. Most completions were in the 4-5 yard range. Trey Burton had one reception for 21 yards, but most of his yards came after the catch. Florida held out LaTroy Pittman after getting banged up the other day and Quinton Dunbar and Solomon Patton wore red non contact jerseys. I'm guessing Andre Debose played because I didn't see anything written about him injured/wearing a red no contact jersey. DeMarcus Robison, a freshmen early enrollee, who was supposed to be a big boost to their receiving corps did not play. He has missed mst of the spring due to a high ankle sprain.

We still gotta finish our spring, but I feel like Al and staff are really starting to make a difference with our guys. To beat UFag we must stop their ground attack. Matt Jones got some burn at the end of last season and showed flashes of his talent...dude is a baller. We gotta keep Driskel honest and force him to beat us passing. Trey Burton will line up as QB some.....he will run the ball...may pass as well. He will also be Driskel's #1 target.

If our offense plays like it should.....with no turnovers....and we play well in the special teams department we win as long as we shut down their running game while keeping an eye on Burton.

Don't forget Florida gave up 39 sacks last years....we gotta chance to do ALOT of damage.

Matt Jones is not to be slept on. He could be there game breaker. PLEASE don't get carried away by a spring game.

This brought the LULZ.

Coley has to match wits with Muscorch or whoever runs that d. That remains to be seen. Our offense played its worst games against the best D's last year.

Our O has a lot to improve on before we start acting like we'll score at will on them gators

The Matt Jones hype is funny. The guy didn't do **** all season then gets a few carries at the end of the FSU game when Florida had completely worn down FSU up front and got a long run and boom.

We have to kill quarterbacks. It's that simple.
If we have to rush 7, then we do it. Whatever it takes to hit the qb on practically every pass beyond a receiver screen he attempts.
For years we've watched a passive defense continually give up long drives all game long, making average qb's look like Heismsan favorites.
If we give up a big play, so be it, as long as the qb feels the pain. A qb who can't see his long td pass because he's buried under 1000lbs of rabid beast is a qb who will quickly start to think about his own survival instead rather than his future success.
Qb's who stand tall and confident, playing pitch and catch without fear, will pick apart any team in America.
It's time to put the fear of God into any qb who faces us. We do that we win.

I live in Jax and deal with Gator biased sports talk radio. Listening to the noise outta spring camp for the Turds vs []_[]s is very different.

In Gainesville all the projected starters are getting slurped all day. Matt Jones this, Driskell that, Purifoy to offense. When actually everyone's hurt and they can't even run a spring game but, the offense is lookin great. You never hear anything about the incoming freshmen or second team guys steppin up and makin noise. Occasionally they mention that the defense could be better this season because a lot of second team guys got snaps last year.

Meanwhile all I hear from Miami is that the only guys gettin any love are young guys and second teamers. Most of the starters/vets are getting tough love from the coaching staff and Golden is only applauding starters if they play near perfect snaps.

Not sure if this will translate to better play on the field but, I thought the difference in the noise this spring for the two teams was interesting.

Florida is going to be one of the more overrated teams in the country next year. Driskell is not a good QB the guy is very average. They lost a ton of talent on defense and as much as they can reload because they have some great recruits its' going to be only their second game so that should help in terms of getting game ready. We return everyone basically and we don't have to worry about new players stepping up. I am really looking forward to this game because I honestly believe Miami will win this game by 10+

You guys dont think Driskell will be more seasoned and developed? He was just a sophmore? Idk what to expect from Florida honestly. I think we win...but i do think Florida will keep it close

Florida needs to use the same blue print to beat us that FSU used. If they think it's Driskell that will beat us we will win big. Sadly though they aren't stupid and they will play D and ST, try to grind us down by running the ball. If the offense can score and we play even on ST I think we get 'em.

I think our d backs can hold up against their receivers, our line backers need to be ready to knock out Taylor and jones, as for our offense, I just hope we actually do something and not wet the bed like we did against good defenses this past year

This is one advantage we do have.....Coley has seen and prepped for two Muschamo Florida teams, so we know what to expect to one extent.

UF strength(defense) vs Miami's strength(offense) should be fun!

I dontthink we ready 4 asec defense. D wins games andourD has to show up. If ourDL plays like last year wewill lose. Iexpect tolose based on the DL but hopefully Duke goes bananas.

I watched Florida live twice last year, their MO was use a ton of players on both sides of the ball and wear teams down. The LSU game was a bare knuckle fight that UF grinded out. That will be their MO this year, no question. I think if we can get up big and force them to try to get out of that, a la Louisville, then we can win. It's really on Morris and the running game to keep UF off the field as long as possible.

Texas A&M just joined the SEC from a greater offensive than defensive conference(Big12) and gave no ***** about those SEC defenses!! Why should we. Just gotta play our game. []_[]!!! And Louisville....Big East Louisville....dominated the mighty SEC gayblades. We're The []_[]. We got this.
