It is a really smart move though spending all that NIL money on true freshman coming in and going 10-2 or 11-1 with their schedule next year. Them dudes thirsty haha. Let's revisit this in a year and see if it was a good move

They are basically doing a Larry Coker era recruting, looking at lists, and doubling the NIL offer

Lagway and money, pretty simple. They wanted to fire Napier but then realized they had to not only pay a big buyout but then most likely lose Lagway to the portal. So they are going all in on the kid and are opening the vault to build around him. Worst case scenario they fire Napier next year but have a loaded roster and can attract a better name. You will start seeing this more and more and Cam was proof of concept here. If you have what you think is him at QB, push all your chips in. You can potentially go from being a 6 or 7 win team to potentially making the playoff.
