it's not like the people who were going aren't going to go now.. it just sucks... 330 or 8 pm game >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> noon game ... atmosphere etc.... but better tv coverage doesn't hurt

If you guys thought we were getting the 8pm time slot after we have been SLAUGHTERED, i mean, SLAUGHTERED two out of the last three times we had it you are smoking crack. (FSU in 2010 and ND last year) I dont blame them. Lets just be happy its nationally televised so when we beat those turds' the whole nation will see!! And when we win we can party the rest of the day away!

And besides, some of my BEST memories as a Cane fan were Noon games. (FSU in 91', 92', 00', and 02') Especially that 91' game and the 00' game. Grown men were crying in the stands after that 00' win. Lets see if these boys can relive that same magic.

Meh. Wouldnt say ALWAYS. FSU last year was a great atmosphere the first half. Ohio State was a great atmosphere a few years ago. If you are trying to compare it to the OB, then you need to just not go to the games. Those days are over. Just pop old tapes in your VCR from the good ole days if you want to relive that magic. Sun Life is just totally different. But there is no doubt in my mind that place will be jumping on sept 7th.

Why is this such a big deal? its close to being as bad as those upset with our jersey selection. its just a start time and we haven't been relevant for years so that's why its a noon kick. Oregon is relevant and for anyone that didn't expect ND/Mich at night to be the feature game is just flat out delusional. stop living in the past as we will be unranked coming into a game at a venue that sucks so its just a good business decision by espn and fans on here are letting their emotion get in the way

Sucks for the fans but I like it in the sense that if our guys are in great condition we can really make the Sun our friend and UFags enemy. Gainsville heat dont compare to the heat & humidity at the bottom of the map.

Hottest game that I can remember (and I've been to over 100 Cane games) was the opener in 1982 at Gainesville.

Perfectly said. Get to Sun Life when the gates open, enjoy a few adult beverages and 'CANE ON.

I don't get it. Nobody has a problem tailgating at Dolphin games, and those start at 1, just one hour later than this one. Seems like when it comes to the Canes, and especially when we aren't a top-5 team, some of these "fans" turn into elderly complainers looking for any excuse to not go. "Ohhhhhh, I can't go, it's too hot, I don't have enough time to tailgate, it was a little drafty by the concession stand and I didn't bring a sweater..."
