UF vs. UM (Noon Kick-off)

This noon game couldn't make me happier. All those who want to use the heat as an excuse to not show up will be at the game and then that BS excuse will be thrown out the window. If you are a true fan and live in the area you should be at ever game you can go to, not just the night or 70 degree games.

This game has enormous implications for recruiting. Winning would really be a giant step for Golden. He is already making progress one baby step at a time. Win this game and we are on the fringe.

#CANESFAM I recognize many would prefer a night game for #BeatUF. With that said it is a TV decision. Bottom line its the Gators in Miami.

We requested and lobbied ESPN for an evening slot for the game vs #BeatUF. Unfortunately, they were unable to accomodate.

Game is at noon instead of 3:30 b/c espn/abc wanted to take game national, 3:30 slot is regional coverage.

Sucks for the fans but I like it in the sense that if our guys are in great condition we can really make the Sun our friend and UFags enemy. Gainsville heat dont compare to the heat & humidity at the bottom of the map.

Gainesville is absolutely miserable in the summer with the **** humidity there will be no weather advantage

Makes sense. I see noon gem always as an advantage for us.

Green Bay fans go shirtless in the cold and make it their signature. Miami fans ***** and moan about their natural advantages and signature weather.....then use it as an excuse not to show up.

Worst fanbase in America.

If you don't have a sunburn are exhausted from cheering and feel like you've run the marathon after a Canes game....you aint a fan

Gainesville is hot in the summer we know they play in the "swamp" and the better team will win in the end. My point is that back in the day we made use of the fact the U is the only school in a subtropical climate = hotter year round summer, fall, winter or spring conditioning is where we made the most of that fact and it showed.

"There is no substitute for conditioning. Some coaches say it starts with discipline, I think it starts with conditioning. As you start to work your players to get them in condition, the discipline will come and togetherness and unity will come. Conditioning before everything else." - Jimmy Johnson

I'll be there no matter what time kickoff is at, main frustration is less drinking/tailgating time pregame

For gosh sakes stop it! It's hotter and muggier than the hinges of **** in Gainsville that time of year. How many times have you seen Bama show up out of condition, just doesn't matter now. That is a BS time slot for South Florida. NCAA and whoever schedules is a total dumb *** moron. Let's make the kids play in the hottest time of day, in the second most hottest place in the country that time of year. Let's see how fast we can dehydrate the players and fans for that matter, Dumb Asses! Not a brain in all of their head combined!
'
I hear ya Gainsville can get hot the difference is the U is the only college that is in a sub-tropical climate. It is hotter more of the year down in Miami hence better conditioning from off-season workouts.

IMO This is a + for The U ~ Lets face it these kids don't yet have the " winning mentality ", and I would go as far as to say they are borderline mentally weak in the sense that we flat out over think way to often in game. Noon kick gives this game a element of practice & just doing your job play in play out. No sitting around all day thinkin bout how great your highlights will look on ESPiN.

Just wake up eat & go ball out .

Just glad to be playing Florida. Nobody is going to care when the game gets closer. What's so bad about waking up at 7am and starting to drink and watching a game then going out after the game to celebrate a win over those ****** Gators.

Bruh, we aren't playing in the game... I could give a f what farm people in Green Bay do.

Night game = awesome tailgate with a bunch of drunk hoes and a super-rowdy crowd for great football under the lights.

I agree I would have loved a 3:30 or night game, but **** it I'm just excited its Gaytors vs Miami again. Beers and begals isn't a bad thing!

Well, let's just kick their asses and get it over with.

We win ten games this year, and we'll get some good TV schedules next year.

This has to be Mark Emmerts way of saying **** you. Maybe all of our games will be at noon.
