UF commit Shawn Davis reaches out to Miami

So according to [MENTION=12910]Brooklyndee[/MENTION] uf appears to not want to apply one of its Academic exemptions on Davis. That fleshes this out a bit as a possibility of what's going on.

I guess the questions would be is Davis willing to grey shirt at uf? If so then this is moot. If not, then, do we have an academic exemption we would be willing to apply to Davis' admission? And of course, would he be willing to come to UM?

How many exemptions does each team get? If we need one for Thomas it's a no brainier
Maybe he did reach out to our staff and asked if one might be available? Pete stuck to his guns..

According to [MENTION=12910]Brooklyndee[/MENTION] schools get four academic exemptions, but there are obviously some academic issues that can not be overcome. Brooklyndee was speculating that UF does not want to use one of their exemptions on Davis. If he wants in at UM, then he is a take according to Pete. I was simply asking if we had any academic exemptions left. My question about greyshirting was just a mistake on my part. Obviously, if he can't get in he can't greyshirt.
