But, But...Malik's HS Coaches are Gators....
kids that weren't as highly rated or dawgsWe've heard recruits say this same thing before.
We have but there has only been 3 other occasions in the last 20 years we have brought in this level of talent on paper. 04, 08, and 18. I’d argue that 18 was a notch below 04,08 and 23. Still, I get your point, we have learned the hard way that not only is it not a guarantee this talent develops but we need to keep stacking the talent afterwards. The 09 and 19 classes were particular disasters. Still, it is a reason to get excited and us Canes haven’t exactly had too many of those the last two decades. We've heard recruits say this same thing before.
We’ve also finally put a system in place to support the players coming inWe have but there has only been 3 other occasions in the last 20 years we have brought in this level of talent on paper. 04, 08, and 18. Normally we have a kid or two. What’s crazy is this year having multiple kids at all the games. Just UA alone would have been 6 I think if not for injuries. We have but there has only been 3 other occasions in the last 20 years we have brought in this level of talent on paper. 04, 08, and 18. That part is so true. Our program was just living off its past glory and reality was that we were closer to a G5 school than a big boy program. Remember the days where we would lose practices in the Miami summer rains and could not get them back? **** was amateur hour. We’ve also finally put a system in place to support the players coming in
Gonna take some time and not sure if this particular regime is the one that brings it back, but at least the foundational support is finally there
No more crying poor about the lack of resources
Tough, but fairI’m not trying to be a **** because Stock seems like a good dude, but he needs to hit some curls.
100% manThat part is so true. Our program was just living off its past glory and reality was that we were closer to a G5 school than a big boy program. Remember the days where we would lose practices in the Miami summer rains and could not get them back? **** was amateur hour.
I actually cannot recall a player saying “we want to run college football.”We've heard recruits say this same thing before.
Yes, let's not go back to the days of Alfred and No D where we fatten guys up so much they lose their athleticism, just so we can stick them in the middle of a crappy 2-gap defense.Just keep the young man at the position he is elite and move him inside on 3rd and long.
I mean, we didn’t exactly get the cream of the crop at IMG. Players like Tyree St Louis and Ryan Fines were pedestrian at best.100% man
I mean imagine us being surprised in the past when we can’t beat SEC schools for kids at places like IMG
They’re literally going to the best high schools to prepare them for college, and then going to the best colleges to prepare them for the pros
Miracle we were able to land some of the kids we did
Are you just adding to my point?I mean, we didn’t exactly get the cream of the crop at IMG. Players like Tyree St Louis and Ryan Fines were pedestrian at best.
He got beat sooo bad he tried to trip a kid lol..Sanker looks like trash.
Aint he the kid that was talking **** about UM on his visit or something like that?
I actually cannot recall a player saying “we want to run college football.”
He had the fanbase convinced we stole one right under Urban’s nose, .Kevin Nelson was basically giving Ray Lewis speeches to our fan base on a daily basis.
