U. School 4-star Sanguinetti updates recruiting process

I have a better chance of f*cking Gwyneth Paltrow than he does of waiting to commit until signing day and landing a spot with a major P5 power program. I stopped reading right there, and props to our coaches for losing his phone number if that's his legit position on the subject.

It was in the mid-70s when he ran per The Opening's website. His shuttle time was also horrible. And he can barely jump over a happy meal.
It's not just that he ran a slow 40. He performed well below average for a DB in nearly every physical test at The Opening.

And also scratched his times from Feburary from the Miami camp. Its a no for me.

Dont really know. I know he does pretty well when it comes to actually covering guys. Maybe thats why...i dont know. But alot of it is.."politics"....and supposed "offers".

Sounds like Miami isn't the only school that has gotten in less contact with him and all of a sudden guy is humbled after trying to shop his talents (or lack there of) as if it were bag worthy. Good luck at Nebraska.

On a 75* sunny day, he ran a 4.86 40 and had a 4.53 short shuttle time. Those are great numbers for a 280 lb lineman. Not a 175 lb CB. If I remember correctly, his vertical was laughable too. So at this point, he's not fast, he's not quick or agile, he can't jump and he's got mediocre size. Not exactly a guy who screams top flight CB at a P5 school.

Now, maybe that was just a bad day. Maybe he was sick or injured. He'll have chances to show that the Ohio opening was a fluke. If he doesn't, let someone else use a scholarship on him.

I believe this staff wouldve ended up dropping him anyway even if he did commit when he had the chance.

Seems like the type of kid that will have an opportunity to shine at UCF. Still talented but it's becoming pretty obvious that schools think he is all floor NO ceiling in terms of potential.
 
Recruiting is something that is great to follow which is why its addicting to a lot of people on here. (me being one of them) Situations like this are the reason. This kid about 6-8 months ago would have been on everyones top 5 "Must Get" list. He was the crown jewel of 2019 secondary class along with Stephenson. Now all of that is over. As JayZ famously said, "It was all good just a week ago."

Hype. That’s how. All these recruiting nerds are subject to the same hype machine everyone else is.

These kids’ families start making highlight reels and pimping them out on social media as soon as they start PeeWee football. That hype train gets rolling early.

Yup. I wonder if he had a committable offer from us last year. He does seem like a good kid and also a fan of the Canes which is rare these days to find.

Or was he big timing us.. idk
