Sure, it was disturbing watching this squad tank after losing Duke, not to mention what can only be described as a complete coaching debacle...but I refuse to ignore the sheer reality that despite saying all the right things, that sorry *** bowl was the last place this team wanted to be, while the other squad was trying to send their all-everything golden boy QB out on a high note.

We get smoked in the first game of the season in a live wire environment with a healthy Duke and what should be an improved defense, without a Bridgewater across the LOS, then I will agree completely, this coaching staff will never achieve mediocrity, much less what we expect. A close loss against what will likely be a slightly favored UL team I could see...since both squads will be working out kinks against a solid opponent...but a blow out like the bowl game? That would signify a lot more than I think even the most negative of us wants to face in Duke's last season...not to mention the likely brutal recruiting fallout.

Not sure how stating our defense sucks *** and the coaching has been a "debacle" is "ignoring the facts"...but I guess you and some guy named BigTip on a message board should have me questioning why I support my Alma Mater?

Tell you what...once you and this other random dude provide me control over the BOT and UM funding, I assure you, we will all be happy in that there will be coaching changes...until then, just tell me what you would like me to say? Apparently, identifying all the problems isn't quite enough, but I need to go watch some other squad on Saturdays who has a message board approved staff? Who have you decided to follow, let's start there and make a list.

And the disclaimer again, for reading comprehension purposes, just in case you want to take this in a circle again, I am sick of the product this coaching staff has fielded in spite of some very coachable talent...I just like to spend my college football season and $$ riding with the Canes. the 2014 CFB season just doesnt really exist to me. F-A-G has robbed me of that enjoyment. the best thing for this program is for him to be fired ASAP. maybe some these kids can be salvaged but hes neutered the **** out of this team so the damage is pretty deep IMO

Then even when an adult, although that elephant could easily pull out that stake, the damage has been done, the lessons burned deep. And he doesn't even try.

You'll note how flat our team(s) come out. How flat they play.

Golden has broken their instincts, trying to replace that with "The Process." Well, he's succeeded, and that's why we don't see a lot of fire. He's poured ice water on it. And that shyster has those poor kids believing in the Process. So they play flat. They play like their taught. And God forbid one gets some fire in his belly. He'll find his *** riding the pine.

In my opinion, Golden can take his Process, and shove it so far up his fat . . . that it's coming out the top of his head.

There you have it. My position exactly. What was so hard about that? We are sick of the situation, but we know we can't change it a little over a month before the season starts, so we watch anyway.

I don't give rat's *** about what any other person thinks about how I handle my business as fan, but we clearly all (ok.. majority) agree that this coaching staff only gets a few things....sound bytes and an aggressive marketing approach with some recruiting success. The most crucial aspects of development and game planning...wow...pathetic would be rather generous way to put it at this juncture.

I just don't get the need to beat the **** out of the dead horse that is Golden and Nofrio at this point. It is what it is...doesn't mean I don't want our players to go into pizza stadium and get some respect back. I just can't get behind rooting for embarrassing losses to make Golden go away quicker, not in my make-up. To each their own.
