U of L players talking trash about UM at ACC Media days

Whats Funny is in that Game, Herb was out, Lewis was 80%, Dorsett was 80%, Duke was out. we no firepower on offense at all. They kept Coley in check and always someone over the top and Hurns was the only one that can do something when Morris want running for his life. Defense came out great but Louisville took advantage of the scheme knowing we wouldnt change it. They dont have bridgewater any more and their defensive studs are gone. Micheal Dyer scares me with his capabilities and he didnt play in the bowl game. I fell we gained and they lost. we are going to win but it will be a fight.

Wow. This is either a lame attempt at excusing that debacle, or a complete memory lapse. We didn't lose a competitive game to Louisville. We got abused. It was on the order of a D1 team playing D1-AA team. For that to happen after a month + of preparation is inexcusable, regardless of injuries.

As i agree with you that there is no excuse in getting demolished like that and I was at the game live. I seen everything. If you were read my post correctly you would see that im not making excuses. im giving facts.

Lewis and Dorsett played but didnt catch a ball nor did they have it thrown there way. Lewis was in just to block and Dorsett was just a disguise. Duke was in a wheel chair. Oline couldnt block the slants that the dline kept doing in every run situation. they always seemed to slant the right way of the run. no one had effort except for Coley who tried to do something but was double covered.

Louisville wanted it more, they came out murking us with hard hits. we layed down. as a Hardcore fan that **** was tough to watch. WE had a chance our defense held them for many series to field goals but our offense was pure garbage. our defenses played like the florida game for the first quater and half. i also seen alot of Grace, Carter and other guys who didnt play much in that game.

The team they played December will not be the same team we will be healthy, faster, stronger, and better talent overall on both sides. I dont care with anybody says we will not lose to Louisville the first game guarantee. also we instead of screaming and yelling and saying Coaches suck and I hate this staff. I simply stated what happened in that game as too the reason we could not compete on a higher level.

As others have said, this isn't a case of someone talking trash, just someone wanting to get out there and play.

That UL game was over when we came out and had a bunch of people create a human link around our players. Then the players just stood around as the UL players talked trash and showed them up. UL came out ready to rumble and we came out ready to be gentlemanly. Don't be surprised to see the same thing again in a month. Golden is soft and it permeates every facet of the program.

No they have no right to talk trash. I may be the delusional Canes fan but we are still The U, and deserve our respect. They're gonna get that *** beat on Labor Day.

No, we aren't the U anymore. We are the University of Miami, a prestigious nerd school (and yet still closer to Bama than Duke in the academic rankings), that prefers to promote basketball, and high APR scores. I'm sad to say it, but The U is dead.

This what your BOT and president want. A neutered gentlemenly football team that puts the graduation rate over the gridiron.

it doesnt matter how ****ed off our players are. when they are put in a position to fail over and over and over again and Petrino is breaking it off real deep in Dorito, they have no chance

So y'all mfs think these Louisville boys ain't cracking jokes and talking issh??? A lot of y'all ain't from miami or know anything about this tradition. Our boyz need to gain some freakin heart and balls on sept 1. How do they let Louisville rep Miami harder than themselves? Team is a joke.

Never in a history has a game been so over before it began. We should probably not play Duke, Coley or Dorsett, to save them from injury in a lost cause.

Hilarious to me...that any true card carrying Cane would just roll over. Sure, it was disturbing watching this squad tank after losing Duke, not to mention what can only be described as a complete coaching debacle...but I refuse to ignore the sheer reality that despite saying all the right things, that sorry *** bowl was the last place this team wanted to be, while the other squad was trying to send their all-everything golden boy QB out on a high note.

We get smoked in the first game of the season in a live wire environment with a healthy Duke and what should be an improved defense, without a Bridgewater across the LOS, then I will agree completely, this coaching staff will never achieve mediocrity, much less what we expect. A close loss against what will likely be a slightly favored UL team I could see...since both squads will be working out kinks against a solid opponent...but a blow out like the bowl game? That would signify a lot more than I think even the most negative of us wants to face in Duke's last season...not to mention the likely brutal recruiting fallout.

Wow, such whining. As if you can't do all of the above and have a top football program. If all you care about is football, go follow a pro team. Like it or not, UM is a UNIVERSITY first and foremost.

LOL ya know....since academics were such a priority for our school circa 1983-2001, NOT football.

Lemme guess, your one of those new age UM fans that only know mediocrity and are 19 years old?
