Honestly TC family don't want him in Miami, and mike farell said we aren't the leader for either Campbell or surtain so i think we need to be expecting the worst when it comes to the dbs. Please don't kill the messenger, i just get the sense from his family that he really feeling Bag town GEORGIA.

Rumph has been one of the all time worst recruiters for a position coach Ive ever seen.

Ironically his coaching is actually pretty good. Seems to be one of those “im not gonna beg u to come here” guys which is honorable but gets you nowhere sadly.

So far I have to agree. Like Kul, he seems to excel at the coaching part of his job. However, the recruiting part, he seems weak. Luckily, there is usually so much DB talent in S. FL that even if he misses a lot, we should have enough talent.

I have some really good friends that are tied into Bama recruiting. For some reason they are acting smug as **** when it comes to Tyson. Weird part is same vibe is coming from UGA guys too. He might be one of those polite kids that hates telling anybody no. Those are the wildcards.

No doubt there's lots of dirty play in recruiting. However that hasn't stopped our other position coaches from cleaning up on the recruiting trail. Re Rumph, I'm not super concerned since there's so much DB talent in S FL. He can miss his tops guys and we can still do well. However, w Kul i think he needs help from other more "sales-oriented" members of the recruiting staff.

You make a great point. Wish these kids would realize who they are going to suit up for when they go to places like that. I live in Alabama, it's still 1960 in the minds of 90% of the season ticket holders I know.
