So he listed 4 coaches he trusts from UGA and 1 from Miami. I'm a vet in the game and not a guy who hangs on every word, but for those who like to parse quotes, that one is interesting.

The crazy thing is he listed the 2 biggest draws we have: early playing time and playing close to home. He’s well aware of what we have to offer.

Personally, I see it this way:

A couple days ago he told [MENTION=13993]RattlerCane305[/MENTION] he wants to stay home but needs to take his visits to make sure he is making the right choice.

A few days later, during a quiet period, he says I could choose now, I have an unnamed leader, but I need to take my visits to make sure it’s the right choice.

Based on those 2 near identical statements I think he still leans Miami but like Rattler said the comp is pulling out all the stops.

That interview doesn’t sound good. He said two measly generic sentences about us then went on & on about UGA. If we don’t land these AH kids then idk what to say about Rumph.

Rumph's going to get bashed if that happens. Part of the reason he was hired was to get a pipeline going (from my perspective). To only get Herbert (which he came because UF's o-line coach was still in flux), is disheartening. And I say only Herbert, because Silvera's not signed either and he's taking OVs to other schools.

Silvera is our biggest recruiter for ahs, you’re on crack bro

Remember that writers are the first to parse these quotes. They pick and choose what parts of the interview to add to the article (and which parts to omit). While they are doing their editing, the primary concern is increased site traffic. And Georgia and Alabaga will always generate more site traffic than Miami. Personally, unless the recruit said it or published it himself, I typically take these articles with a grain of salt.

Bruh your words are what I follow with TC. I don’t even listen to TC because I’ve studied this kid long enough. He’s a quiet close to the vest kid. He’s not telling some clowns anything of substance so any interview is fluff to me. With you you he keeps it 200.
