I wouldn’t want to play in that D I watched last night. Things got real around here very fast. All this winning we did early was a facade. Are we in better shape then when Golden was here? Absolutely. Are we in near the big boys yet? Not even close.

These comments about, "not wanting to play in that D or O" baffle me. What was wrong with the D schematically that would be a red flag for the corners looking at UM? They didn't play well, got it, but what were the concepts that concern you? And don't post a bunch gibberish about Zone and Man. Those are the 2 choices everywhere and are used everywhere. Our problem was execution. Bad ball skills by CBs were the reason for 2 or 3 TDs. Ball skills by Bandy stopped a TD. Poor skills by others allowed them. Watch the first over Delaney. He's in position. A typical Miami caliber CB deflects or picks that.

Yeah, I don't get that either. We just played poorly defensively against Wiscy, no excuses. This isn't the same as saying you wouldn't want to play defense for Al Golden; this is an entirely new set up.
