This should be a layup. This kid literally described Rumph as father-figure and we have playing time to sell incoming freshman; particularly at the secondary. Whiffing on Surtain Jr. is one thing, whiffing on Campbell is blasphemous.

Who have we been told who have led this whole time? The article stated he has an unnamed leader as well. Campbell provides great compliments to every school recruiting him

Do you know if Nesta has any visits planned other than to Miami?

No

That’s good news. Thanks!

Is the father figure thing from Wiltfong’s article today?

Neg all you want but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we whiff on all 4 AH kids

U might be right, or the staff might be pushing the narrative see how close we are, and u 4 can come in, play right away, and put us over the top. Miami showed mad love to Nesta before anyone else, and for all in the know, they said he and his family is loyal. I’m going to hold out that Rumph’s relationship will hold weight here. But, if it doesn’t............

The narrative that the you mentioned is correct. they would be crazy not to know that. We just went 9-4 last year, 10-3 with coastal win (with Malik at qb, your best rb & wr out for the year, then te and no depth, but we still won.) and we return most of our best players, have a top 7 recruiting class already signed. plus administration committed to program...staff not lying.

So when he thought he was coming to Miami you said he was extremely connected, but now he's thinking of flipping his pick to Georgia and this is your response ...

Crystal ball also had the former FSU dB commit coming to Miami , those things are pure guessing

Wiltfong doesn’t guess. He is the most plugged in guy out of all of them. Miami has to close the deal because Georgia isn’t going away!

No, he (Campbell) said this a while back. This stems from Rumph coaching him (Campbell) in his Optimists days.

He said that in an article with Pete I believe a while back earlier this year

Yea if he's thinking Georgia then there's legitimate smoke.

If Rumph can't convince a kid from a Canes family who he's known forever and that would start day one, then he's the worst recruiter of all time. The 2018 CB class was set up perfectly for him to clean up.

This is gonna come down to signing day. Nobody is gonna know a **** thing until then. Buckle up.

Nedra spoke pretty glowingly of Miami in his interview

Surtain really didn’t mention a possible visit to Miami. It could happen but it seems it will come down to LSU and Bama

With the lack of talent in our defensive backfield to lose out on Jobe, Surtain, Campbell and Samuels is pathetic

Georgia fans seem extremely confident in landing TC. Many of them (respected posters) say that what we don’t know is that James Coley already has TC sewed up. TIFWIW but if we lose Campbell it is a major fail on this staff and Rumph.

Marco Wilson miss
CJ Henderson miss
Shawn Davis miss
Brian Edwards miss
Josh Jobe miss
Add Campbell and Surtain to the growing list of failure

That is how you watching Miami playing
Dee Delaney
Robert Knowles
Mike Jackson
Malek Young
Jhavonte Dean

And have only 5 CBs on the roster. If Rumph loses Campbell he would be unemployed if I was the HC

if only jimbo wasn't such an ******* to work for, maybe coley would have taken that OC job he was offered.

Could our sudden interest in Samuel and scheduling a visit with Bethel have something to do with not feeling confident with Campbell? We need both quality and quantity in terms of DBs.
