Get Campbell and I'm satisfied. Elite player. There are absolutely no excuses for staff to miss on Campbell, regardless of how good the other commits are. Not one reason why not.

They signed a great class. I am speaking on highly contested battles for recruits who are unsure of where they are going. Not guys who are locked in. They do win some like Richards and I guess you can say Thomas

They don't win highly contested battles for recruits??? Every recruit that has signed was a contested battle and Miami beat out major schools to get them.

I’d rather have Nesta and Thompson and another DT that can play next year than Campbell and Surtain. Make no mistake I’d love to have Campbell and Surtain but the class is more complete with solid DTs than with superstar DBs.

I’m comfortable with the DBs Miami has recruited right now and if only Bethel was added...I’m good.

We need to get Campbell though. It sends a message that the top tier guys aren’t going to be able to be hand picked from SFL any more. If Campbell goes than the top 4 prospects in SFL would leave for OOS schools and two would be going to UGA.

In my heart and my head I know Miami NEEDS to close on Campbell if for no other reason than to show the revolving door is being bolted shut. We agree. But, Miami needs offense stoppers on defense - as long as we have no idea who can produce at QB.

I want an “LSU beat Bama 9-6” Miami defense, and Miami doesn’t get there without those DTs. Miami will be alright with Ivey, Blades and Frierson...and whoever else.

it's not naive. Kid is entitled to a OV. Which he should take advantage of. The stratedic play here is for him to do with the other top commits who haven't signed from his school.

It's a beta mindset to get all scared about your recruit getting poached by another school. Man up we are the U.

Right now FSU has a better CB class than UM according the 247 composite. Campbell is a MUST get or something is very wrong. If a coach can't get his own players to follow him he's not a good coach. Spare me the he's a good fundamentals guy but a bad recruiter BS also. If that's the case then he should go back to high school.

Plus this is a massively stacked DB class in Florida. If we have to settle for a guy like Bethel than it's a huge disappointment. Just calling it like I see it here.

Gotta agree. CIS is still looking at this DB class like Kaindoh’s Kuck is in it and Campbell is automatic.

Miss on Campbell and Surtain, and it’s merely a decent overall haul considering all the circumstances that are so heavily in our favor this cycle. Campbell should be a layup, yet we’re going to be on pins and needles till the end.

If we hadn't lost Jobe I think this class would still be elite without him. But since he pulled that ****, This class definitely needs Campbell and/or Surtain to be elite.
