Tyson Campbell recruitment??

Tyson's on that KKK Summer Tour. Georgia, Clemson and Alabaga. Who's next? KKK hotbed of the USA KKKainseville?

So I guess no one is talking about the fact that Tyson is visiting UGA today? It was bad enough he'd skip it for a **** cookout, but now also skkipping out on the ridiculous event we've put together for UGA as well?

Zero chance this kid will be a Cane.

All part of the plan. UM silent.

Cane lock!

Yeah, I think you guys are right. He already knows where he's going (Miami) which is why he won't bother stepping foot on campus!

On a serious note to you others, so what if Athens is close to Clemson? You're telling me he couldn't have come to Paradise (a much better camp than any of these others and it is NOT close) and then headed up to Clemson afterward? Bull ****. Instead, he's visiting everywhere BUT Miami. Thinking it might be time to accept reality on this one. Kid doesn't want to be here.

Also, in before the sunshine crew bombards me with their sarcastic comments about how I'm freaking out. Nah, keep that to yourself, because the realists on here are just pointing out his actual actions to those who refuse to accept it. Not bashing the kid in any way either so don't start with that, just putting the facts out there. Tyson won't be a Cane and it should be clear to anyone with any sense of objectivity at this point.

If I'm wrong, I will man up and take the L without issue. However, I'm pretty confident at this point I won't have to do that.

who cares?

The kid can do whatever he wants. It's all about this []_[], bruh. Act like you know.

Has it possibly dawned on anyone that the coaching staff encouraged Tyson to take all the visits, first, before deciding if Miami is truly the place for him? I recall Richt saying he likes guys to be sure that this is what they want, instead of committing b/c of euphoria, and then changing their minds later. I'm sure contingency plans are in place, but I'm also pretty sure that based upon the relationship that Rumph has w/ Campbell that they are in the loop about everything. I think we just need to stop analyzing every single snap chat or tweet. This is coming from a guy who had his hoodie dang near 95% of last year's recruiting cycle.

I agree with not analyzing every social media post or tweet, but when you look at everything this young man has done, he doesn't look like he has a lot of interest in UM. I say this because I can't recall a single instance of this young man setting foot on UM's campus in 2017. Perhaps, I'm wrong, but I agree with Tom Coughlin when he said "deeds, not words."

Of course Richt would encourage him to check out other places, but in this situation your thinking is mostly wishful. I truly hope you haven't convinced yourself that our head coach would encourage our arguably top remaining target to skip out on his premiere recruiting event to visit multiple other schools instead. Think about that for a moment.

I don't have to convince myself of anything...but if I'm a coach, and I'm recruiting a top kid, absolutely I want him to visit other schools, if he's in my back yard...just as long as I have the last visit and most contact. You've seen the rest, now here's the best.

I'm happy for you and your optimism, I really am, but I don't think there's much of a positive spin to this. Zero chance Richt encouraged him or even said he was okay with Tyson skipping Paradise for UGA, Clemson, AND apparently Alabama on Monday too. That's without even mentioning the kid going to FIU to talk with *** and Sabag, while apparently unable to even stop by UM for a couple hours.

In my eyes, it's getting hard to find any positive spin for it. As of now, Tyson is more interested in other programs. But hey, at least we're still probably in his top 5!

Trust me bruh, I feel where you're coming. No lie, I'm disappointed in Campbell and Frierson visiting other camps, as well. All I know is this...the only time Nesta grins is when he's asked about Campbell coming w/ him to Miami. When Campbell was at the Nike camp, kids committed to other schools were yelling in the back ground he's a Cane Silent. I think it's smoke and mirrors. Once upon a time he was 100% CB'd to us, then all of a sudden, it seemed he was all OSU. Now Clemson is popping up. Bama is popping up. Now the CB is all over the place.

When Harley said he shut down his recruitment and he was all WVA, he had an interview after the state game and Samuel yelled behind him, he's a Cane silent. I personally think it's all smoke and mirrors. I'm not the most optimistic **** in general. My glass stay half empty, my g...but something tells me when it's all said and done, he'll be a Cane. And if he's not, it'll hurt b/c the kid needs to be a Cane, but I won't lose any sleep over it (well not, for a day or so).

you're doing way too much... He's a teenager and the []_[] will be fine if he wants to be here or not.

This is absolutely what happened. Rick encouraged Tyson to do the KKK Summer Tour instead of participating in UM's biggest recruiting event of the year.

You're right. I don't want that elite CB to be interested in Miami anymore. Go Canes!

Eh.. I remember it was Asante in the background saying "flip" and throwing up the U, but I don't think the situations are very similar. The only reason Harley took so long to be a Cane was because we wanted other guys over him. The first time we got him on a visit with the intent of flipping him, that's exactly what happened because Harley and everyone else knew he wanted to be at Miami. Can't say the same for Tyson right now when he has shown little to no love to Miami all year. Plus, silent commits mean nothing to me for the most part.

It's not that I want to be right about this either, because I 100% want Tyson to come to Miami. That's just not how it's looking right now.

Mahoney is the guy who reads and posts on a recruiting board every day yet acts like he's too cool and grown up to care about recruiting.

You're reaching blood. That's not what I said. I said maybe the staff encouraged Tyson to take visits, FIRST, before deciding if Miami is truly the place for him. That was a hypothetical scenario, since Richt is big on kids being sure, first, before accepting commitments. Now you can take that statement how you want, my g, but I said nothing about Richt encouraging him to skip our biggest event to go the biggest KKK Summer Tour of the season.

I feel you brody. No doubt. Especially just seeing Dent commit to FSU, man, it's rough out here for local talent to see the light.

That'd be like a car salesman encouraging you to go to other dealerships to see if his car is the right fit for you. So no, my g

There can be no doubt that Rick wanted him at Paradise. You're right. Rick doesn't want guys to commit to UM unless they're sure, but he **** sure doesn't want his number 1 remaining DB recruit to go on the KKK Summer Tour instead of coming to Paradise. He's bringing all these guys like Lewis and Reed in for a reason. That's to convince recruits to come here.

Ultimately, Rick's success and job depends on him convincing top players like Campbell to come here, and the chance of convincing him goes up if he comes to Paradise instead of doing the KKK Summer Tour.

Tyson never visited Bama.

And the Bama fans are very confused because Saban really wants Campbell, and they don't understand how Campbell couldn't be interested in them
