Tyre Brady

Has the OP come out with his twitter handle that mods requested yet? This is just another thread that smells.

That's patently false. Every school cannot take partial qualifiers out of high school now. No idea where you're getting that from, and would love to see you point to that rule anywhere. It doesn't exist.

Try using Google before you open your mouth.

That's how they ended up with Jaquan Yullee out of the 757 in VA

Yup, Yulee had the GPA but couldnt get the test score and Saban didnt want to wait around for him, so he signed with Marshall and decided not to retake the test. Sat out a year and now is a key player on the defense.

Honestly I wish more Top Athletes would look at this route instead of going to a JUCO. If your not going to qualify but you have the GPA. Come to Marshall, sit out a year and then have 4 years to play 4. Instead of going to a JUCO and becoming another statistic.

I like N'keal Harry out of Arizona St and the WR from Colorado and AJ Brown ahead of Brady.

Id throw ahmon too but he hasn't been himself for a long time.

I remember I was very high on Brady out of HS him and Auden Tate. I liked them both more than Ermon Lane i thought he was very over rated but you cant say too much to the SF homers and a couple ex writers on this board.

This is a stacked year for WR's in the draft.

I'm happy to see Brady put up big numbers, and why I don't begrudge transfers no matter what their reason is.

I feel like Darrell Langham is a player who's stuck it out at Miami, made some big plays, but struggled to get consistent playing time. But if he had transferred to a Conference USA school like Brady, he probably would've put up some big numbers too.

I would love to see the conference as a whole take this approach. C-USA covers so much area with their it would be a huge talent boost and give those kids a quality education while boosting the talent of the conference

That’s a good route if the school wants you. However, juco is the best option for many students if they due what they are supposed to do. An issue with juco is that too many guys follow their homies as opposed to going to a school that will properly utilize them. When you go juco, you have to look at what’s best for you. It’s really rewarding. However, if you choose a school because it’s on Last Chance U or because it’s where your friends are going then it’s going to be an issue.

some schools do like UTSA, Southern Miss, MTSU, LT and UAB

And other like FIU, FAU, and Rice are staunchly against it.

idk how you can say JUCO is the best route vs being able to enroll in a 4 year school with all the S&C resources, academic support, and Housing of a 4 year school. Plus you still have 4 years to play 4 years.

Cool story bro and look where Curry is now
Who disputes that talent comes out of Marshall? They are able to take non-qualifiers out of HS, which other schools can't do. It's ok to be completely wrong. You've provided good info to the board on other things. Just wrong here.

And what exactly am I wrong about?

And that article you posted was from 2013, 4 years before the new qualifications rules was put in place. During that time, you either qualified or your dont.

Also CUSA allows Marshall to take NQs based of the rules, Marshall just follows the rules.
