There is an expectation that Miami will have a strong year on the field this fall for the first time in the Mario Cristobal era. Should the Hurricanes perform, that would impact the way that Williams views them as a potential landing spot.

"That definitely going to mean a lot. I'm definitely going to make a couple of games to see that." There is no date locked in for a visit, but Williams made it clear that he plans to visit Miami this season.
