Two Deerfield High players committed to Oregon and VT respectively

Deerfield LB Ge'mon Eaford, which Miami flirted briefly with commits to Oregon and fellow Deerfield DL Brandon Dorlus to VT.

We were not actively recruiting either of these players, but it shows the depth of SF talent. Will clearly see Dorlus down the line vs VT.

Yes, pretty sure it was something along the lines of I wouldn't go to Miami if they paid me. I think Golden was the coach still at the time, but agree, eff him.

Eaford is a beast. If he sticks with his commitment he will be an all pac 10 performer easily.

He has to show he can coach. Otherwise his recruiting means little.

Oregon looked awful against an inferior Boise team last year with Cristobal coaching. They have the easiest P5 schedule in the country this year and he's been gifted an elite QB. If he wins 10+ games, I'll buy in.

Eaford has had some real tough times in his young life. Read an interview he gave and basically, he is moving on and starting a new life. Thankfully he seems to have had some good people step in and look out for him lately. Wish the kid well and hope it works out for him.
