Let’s all be intellectually honest for a moment. TVD will probably have a good year and make good money in the NFL. But in life nothing is guaranteed. This is a moment to maximize his value financially. This is a perfect use of leverage. It’s just business. I’m sure he would have preferred it didn’t come out, but it might have been necessary if Miami slow played.
