I want TVD to do what’s best for him. I don’t know what that answer is and be may not yet either. But I have always been a big fan and want him to succeed. Another “leader in dark times” guy trying to eek it out last year.

What’s the difference to our team if he bounces? Bowl eligibility? We have so many other issues that Mario needs to address that one year with TVD at the helm or not doesn’t really seem all that significant to me.

Man... What sucks is that even if he stays he's already lost his team. Kid isn't a leader if he's even having the conversation with Bama. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but it's hard to be the "leader" of a team when all your teammates know you were entertaining leaving for $.

I think TVD could go a bunch of places and start and do well. But Bama I find it hard to believe Saban would promise TVD anything. So he’d go there and either potentially not start. I know they feel they need a one year rental before their young guys are ready.

All that said I don’t believe it even one bit.(Bama…maybe somewhere else)

Only thing I can think of is he's not happy with Dawson as OC? Gave him and Mario a chance in the spring and decided it wasn't the best fit for him to make it to the NFL?
