no matter what...all parties will have damage control to do from a team aspect that will stretch allll the way in and thru this coming season...there are no winners with this ****

and as far as Miami media....been sayin this for 2 decades...they arent fans AT ALL and would kill their next born to be "the one that brought down Miami" as a journalist.
We need a HBC who isn't afraid to revoke media credentials. These shenangians aren't going down at places like Bama I can assure you.

First, the contributions into a collective are not "charitable contributions" under the definition.

Second, the expenses incurred by the collectives...might be questioned by the IRS as "not valid 'ordinary & necessary' business deductions".

This is brand new territory. Normally, when you incorporate and have revenue/expenses, you are supposed to have a profit motive. Not yet sure whether the payouts to players will be viewed as deductible. Collectives are a weird, mangy mix of "corporate" and "not-for-profit" motivations.

Might have to hire EVEN MORE staff at the IRS to sort through this one!

:ROFLMAO:
I thought some of the collectives applied for c3 status?

I’ll just leave it like this and be done. Miami wants him to stay and he’s the priority, but if he does leave there’s multiple options and imo are good starters. I lean he’s staying but one way or the other it needs to be over and fast.
And that's all TVD is too, a good starter. He's not irreplaceable so it is what it is.

Lol at people thinking Saban is some offensive savant. He doesn't know offense.

Saban signs elite players and hires elite OC's to use those elite players and run offense.

Whoever is his OC is going to run that OC's offense. Rees will run Rees offense. That offense isn't some breeding ground for QB numbers.

Anyways this sounds NIL agent driven.

Is Drew R TVD's NIl agent?
I asked because the offense they were running the last few years really didn’t look much different than what Locksley was running

Only at Miami. Gonna go on for eternity until someone gets the idea to clean house and bring in a HC with no connection to Miami whatsoever and he fills a staff of coaches that can coach and not for "recruiting". Golden sucked but was the closest thing to this and had the most talented teams of all the guys since him that have built Miami bro staffs

Too many guys want to be friends with the kids and not coach and de

Lock this thread before it gets worse. Holy ****.
Twitter is worse, its a complete ******* meltdown over there. Makes Cane fans look like a bunch of cucks

Find someone else quick and kick him to the curb. Might sound crazy... but the reality is you can't hang in this space for long. Leaders need to lead and we need WRs and portal additions and this hurts the team.

I honestly don't think he would be the one QB Alabama covets. If he did go there they wouldn't just go after him and he would have to win a spot vs some other transfer.

FAFO.

went 5-7 because of him alone? Don’t think you paid attention last year. The offense was even worse when he was hurt also the defense was getting torched by mid tenn st lol. O-line was struggling to block southern miss. Offensive scheme terrible. But just blame one guy? Lol
Ain’t just blaming one guy, wasn’t just him but he certainly didn’t play well either

I am indeed white.

However, I can (used to) dunk and ran a 4.49 40 and 6.6 60 in college and played WR and DB. Breaking barriers.
i think most people here don´t care your race. you seem like a good dude offering legitimate, first-hand news and experience. keep doing what you are doing.

not everything is about race or ethnicity or gender.

Hurt in a few different ways. Tampering for one
I've put myself on NIL-block largely for being strongly bashed for pointing out some of the now every-other-post stuff a week ago, mostly in basketball .... I am NOT anti-Cane in any way. Glad to hear we have 10-12 million with a mix of Ruiz and others, and hope to contribute more.

I wonder though about these mentions of tampering. Surely Bama didnt contact TVD. What seems likely, and in fact has been reported vaguely, they (and others) contacted Rosenhaus Assoc, who handles many deals for TVD (and others.) I think NCAA hasnt considered this as tampering YET, so its not in the rules(against.) Yet! But could be soon! Until then, I hope our 10-12 or more million contact such agencies for the other folks we'd like to transfer here!
