I thought it got much further than it did but now that the smoke is settling even someone on Bama’s side basically said it was just informal and inquiry and wasn’t even entertained by Tyler. His agent did his due diligence and it was over.

Something that’s happened with a few guys on our roster and didn’t leak. Others have progressed much further with other schools than TVD.

Mario and the Athletic Dept need to continue to weed out the rats and the outlets the rats go to put it out there.

A similar example is FSU and Jordan Travis. Rumor was OSU came calling, probably not much different than our situation with TVD. Highly doubt anything comes of it but look at how their media keeps it under wraps and doesnt let the rumor mill go crazy while our media in a similar situation dumps gas on the fire and burns it all down for a few extra clicks and attention.

I believe that would constitute "spoilers" for a few more weeks.

Did you watch? I think he's talking about the big development in the penultimate episode, plus the decline of the relationship and situations of those two characters in the final episode.

I don’t think TVD sucks and I’m glad he’s staying, but in reality what has he really done for this program on the field? He played well in the 2nd half of a lost 2021 season but that’s about it. 2022 wasn’t spectacular although we know some of that is on Gattis and Ponce. Still not an excuse for the MTSU meltdown.

I’m new to this forum so I don’t know what will get me flamed and what won’t, but I also don’t care. There’s still a lot TVD needs to prove on the field. I’m slightly surprised this is the guy Alabama goes after considering they can probably buy anyone they want.

TVD ain’t done ****. We loved him when he talked trash to NC State his freshman year and backed it up, but other than that… he beat up on some trash teams. Then stunk up the joint last season…you can blame a lot of it on Gattis, but he also held the ball way too long and missed plenty of open guys.

I didn’t have a problem with Wong. Like has been mentioned, coming off an elite 8 appearance and Pack just got a better deal. As Wong should’ve he negotiated a larger deal than he had based on new market values and actual success on the court. TVDs negotiating leverage was only that he’s the only starting caliber QB on the roster.
