Turmoil in the Locker Room

You have to find out if the future at QB is on this roster. That’s what this season is about now. Have to play the kids

& he’s a total upgrade as a RB coach & special teams coach. I mean he’s one of the best to ever do it & we don’t bring him in.

I wanted butch back so bad man
well two things. 1.) Richt and Brown have been VERY good at coaching rb's so im not worried. 2.) I wanted Butch but he would have taken a minute to win. hes not a great gameday coach but he would have stockpiled and developed enough to overwhelm teams.

True & I like Brown but the issue I’m puzzled about is 1: Travis homer proved to be pretty **** good but why run Mark Walton into the ground like that when he was nursing an ankle injury.
2: the whole joe yearby thing.

they were surprised about homer. they didnt think he had it. crazy stuff was when richt was like maybe i should have deejay at rb whole time.lol

yearby was too slow and had issues in locker room.

And if it’s true about Richards then I’ll give him credit for chewing out Rosiers *** that’s what someone that gives a **** would do...

But at the same time I’m sure every WR was chewing out his ***... I saw Langham looking like wtf and he comes off like a chill dude.

Richards still comes off a little soft when the competition amps up, especially if the qb isn’t clicking out the gate. He checked out too early, **** I don’t remember him on the field after the end of the 1st quarter?? He lets his emotions handicap his play.

Jeff Thomas is the complete opposite... he plays with pride every down, even when he’s frustrated, his emotions doesn’t handicap him it fuels him to go harder that’s why he was out their catching one handed jump balls thrown at him like he was 6’6”... he wasn’t goIng to let Rosier keep him off the stat sheet.

I think yearby had issues bc of the way he was treated. I could be wrong..but coming off a 1,000 season & not starting for a guy who didn’t recruit you had to be tough.

It seemed to me & I could be wrong but it seemed that Joe did more with the shared carries the following year & just stopped getting the ball. I dunno...it just seemed that way to me.

I don’t feel the need to start a new thread so I’ll just put this here.

Richt knows Rosier sucks balls, right? With all the grad transfers out there at QB, why not make a run at one of them? Because you don’t want to upset the backup QB who gets suspended? You don’t want Rosier to get all in his feelings?

I was never a fan of Rosier but man Richt, has entered the same territory. Too much talent on O to look like this against good competition.

Midway through the beat down, I said to my friend that we’re a perennial 9-3 team and he quickly responded “like UGA used to be”.

All the warning signs were there when Kaaya looked worse under Richt and bolted for the NFL. we blamed the kid

He didn't look worse.

Kaaya in 2016 was the third best QB rating in Miami history. Only 1986 Vinny and 2000 Dorsey had better QB ratings than his 150.3.

It hurts now, but lets be accurate with our complaining......

Imagine how frustrating it must be for a kid like Brevin Jordan to be running around wide open and see balls flying 10 ft over your head. His HS QB last year is substantially better than Malik has been on his best day.

He missed Brevin twice in a row, even true freshman are now ****ed.

AND I'm glad Richards snapped on him, that's a true Cane. WTF do you think Irvin, Ed Reed or Ray Lewis would have done!

Cuz there's one thing we know for sure makes someone play better, it's being snapped at.

For all the people who have decided they are done with Coach Richt, 5 games after you were undoubtedly on his jock when we killed ND. What would you like done? Him fired? And then what? Hire Butch away from setting college football on fire at FIU? Some other Coach you will want to fire after 2 seasons and 1 game?

I'm disgusted with tonight's performance but Coach Richt just won 10 games and the coastal in year 2 plus got the IPF done, he's going NOWHERE for years to come so may as well join OP from the Done thread. **** off and go cheer for someone else.
The IPF was already being planned before Richt got here. Nobody in their right mind wants him gone, we just expect and demand better of a head coach. He's making the same mistakes over and over, and getting worse at his job. As real fans we voice our opinions because we expect wins, not terrible play from a QB for 2 years. Obviously the kid is going nowhere in his development as a QB, his time is up and the starting position needs to be given to someone else. I think it's you who needs to cheer for someone else! Go take your loser *** over to FSU.

Rosier played bad.

Richt called an even worst game. He should have let it fly while we were still within striking distance early in the second quarter. For some odd reason he kept trying to run the ball when it was situationally stupid.

Also, I got no problem with a kid getting in his qb's face, but thowing your hands up after an errant pass is just showing up your qb on national Tv. It's selfish and embarrassess your qb. Nothing good comes from it. Go to your qb and talk to him directly. Act like a team in front of the world.

Also, our blitzing defense gives up more big plays than it make against physical offenses. Time for Manny to come up with something else.

Richt's offense shows no creativity and can't possibly be that difficult to grasp based on what we've seen. Yet, we have not a single QB on the roster that can execute at such a basic level. Terrible. Need a real OC and QB coach, among other things.

Rosier couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat yesterday. I'm not one to pick up on **** poor play but yesterday was something else. A complete shambles. I'd be able to find the receivers half the time and I wouldn't even be able to see over the O-line
