Turmoil in the Locker Room

i wanted butch after the 30 for 30 it felt like destiny but of course they didnt go that route.

Richt said all last year we didnt have elite talent.

He has better talent than Knowles and Smith but he keeps playing them instead of the more physically talented players. That’s on him

It comes down to this. We have a warm up game coming up. Time to plan for the future. ANYONE can see the year will end the same, or worse, as last year with Rosy as QB.

Use Savannah State to get the 3 other QB's in action. It can be like a mini camp/tryout. See who looks like they can hang and manage a game.

Take the top QB from Savannah State game and run them at Toledo to see how they play in a road game against at least a marginal opponent. Then hopefully, we can also see the other 1 or 2 QB's later in the game.

Use the FIU game to use those 3 again as a final tryout for the ACC schedule.

I feel like, with the new RS rule, there is no reason to leave Williams out of the rotation. At least get him in on drives to see where he is at, and get a little game time. If he truly isn't ready, then you can still RS him.

We have 3 games coming up before ACC play, and we might as well use them to get all the QB's in the game and make a trial by fire out of it.

Wow Brooklyndee has had it after one game? I know this game was the worst we’ve played since Al Golden was our Corch. Maybe I’m an idiot or moron but I’m still standing by the team. Not Richt, and certainly not the rest of the coaching staff especially after that debacle. I guess I’m not ready to call the year yet, who knows stranger things have happened before. Maybe the **** show gets them ****ed enough to practice harder than before. Or Richt to finally know he can no longer play Rosier. Or Manny figuring out his happy blitzing crap won’t work. I don’t know guys, I’m just hanging on by a thread here.

Coaches are arrogant stubborn knowitalls. Only the best can change. Nobody on this staff in the best. Four huge loses in a row and players are being punished for objecting? We should fly the plane for first home game to let mark know this not UGA and there will not be long tenure without pain. God forgives, we are not God.

It appears that some of the players are feeling like the fans with Rosier and his inability to play QB for a top program in Division 1 football. BrookylnDee has stated that the reason that Richards was benched (not injured) was because he went off on Rosier and his lackluster (to say the least) play during the first half. If you watched the game I saw multiple times that receivers were throwing their hands up wondering what kind of pass was just thrown when they were wide open.

Put Perry or Williams in and let them learn on the run, I don't see how it can get any worse. Have Jon Richt earn some of his paycheck at least and make him personally make sure that Perry is in class everyday. This is unacceptable and truly unbelievable.

Maybe the reason why Richards little brother is not a commit already!!!

Brooklyndee's comments just further accentuate how big of a piece of overrated garbage Richt is.

It's his third full season here and the fact we're still starting someone like Malik Rosier is a DIRECT reflection of Richt's recruiting, personnel evaluation, and roster construction FAILURES.

Stop pointing the finger at Rosier and start pointing them at the ******* who thought it was ok to roll into season 3 with him at QB. No attempt was even made to go after a grad transfer or any transfer for that matter.

Sorry...but the problem here is Richt.

Spot on...Same crap he did at UGA.

Outside of Dugans & Hartley (TE’s only)...this staff is trash imho.

well he aint going anywhere because he paid for the IPF

honestly, if butch was here, some of these kids would have quit football. Yeah, FIU lost but
that dude at 66 shows where more energy than richt does.

And that's the worst trait to have as a coach. Being stubborn led to the worst defense in our school's history.

Someone with “sources” please tell me Richt is gunna change things ASAP

If not, we might be doomed folks. We’ll start losing our players, more and more recruits and our **** offense and other issues will only become worse

The fact Perry was hand picked by Richt and ISN'T ALREADY CLEARLY THE STARTER tells you everything you need to know.

Richt the recruiter/talent evaluator failed Richt the OC. Richt the ****** OC then in turn failed Richt the head coach.

Segregation of ******* duties is the big problem here. Richt should be managing this team/roster from a higher altitude instead of getting mired in the muck and details. He's a horrible OC and apparently has lost the ability to acquire talent at the QB position and amass a decent depth chart at said position.

“Richt the recruiter/talent evaluator failed Richt the OC. Richt the ****** OC then in turn failed Richt the head coach.”

That sentence perfectly sums up out current situation!

“Richt should be managing this team/roster from a higher altitude instead of getting mired in the muck and details.”

Ritch lost the ability to objectively evaluate the performance of the OC when he named himself OC and compounded that issue by naming his son QB coach.

Perfect post sir and unfortunately I agree with every word it.

Sadly you’re so right.

Son is the QB coach..wife is the hydration specialist. He’s setting up a nice retirement when he hits 60 imho.

The hires for this staff still puzzle me.

This is very good. We need to let Williams, Perry, and Weldon compete for the job for the next 3 games. Maybe we lose an extra game down the road cause the young QB's, but it will at least be a lot more exciting.

When did Weldon become a junkie?? Maybe that’s not the right word to describe it? I mean if he’s on heroin than im sure he would be kicked off the team already.

But a little coke? **** some players get high but still perform when the lights are on. That’s not a big enough excuse especially if Richt gave him the #2 spot. Why would he do that if the qb is a “junkie”??
