At what position will Trayone Gray be the most effective for this team?

I hope this guy is the goods... otherwise, there will be several people on this board who will be severely disappointed...

I think Rb... He was quite "ordinary" at wr his junior with arguably the best qb in Dade County but he is quite talented with the ball in his hands so I think Rb will be good for him...

I think he should be a running back. But for hypothetical/conversation: how do you think he would do at safety? I think he would be nasty.

My guess is he ends up at WR. That is where his HS coaches think he plays best. I also think where he probably holds the best long term potential. I think he can certainly play RB, but he has a bit of an unorthodox running style for RB. Not blazing fast either. He is very elusive, has great moves, but his size and athleticism just make him a natural big bruising receiver. He's going to become some QBs favorite target and shred defenses.

One with [[__]] on his head and ball in his hands. Truth is we are all very excited over him, but we will not know until we see him against D1 talent. Maybe a great rb but that upright style might not work so well. WR means more than just being hard to catch and bring down. I do think he has played defense and that side of the ball requires a state of mind. What we know is, this kid wanted to be a CANE really bad and worked his rear off to get up to speed. For me, kid is winner the first time through the SMOKE and anything after that is gravy. There is more to being a CANE than just winning games. That said, I cannot wait to see him in the open field with ball in his hands.

Doesn't hurt to start him off at RB, maybe get him a few touches per game (not including KRs, he may get some looks there as well) then move him to WR when/if some/all the 2015 RBs get here.

I wouldn't be mad if he red shirts though.

His best position right now would be red shirting.
Next year, wide receiver.

So he's the next Lamar Miller.

Hopefully.
Let's not forget that he's athletically gifted, but academically challenged, and his new play book is going to be at least 10 times larger and more complex than anything he's ever seen.

Remember Devin Hester?
