Was that guy wrong?

Since his successful stint at Louisville; he’s sucked as a DC and a HC
Doesn't work like that. Strong was successful as a DC at UF and successful as a HC at UL.

Was Tom Herman successful at Texas? Why were there no reports of them saying Herman should remain a QB coach.

The fact that you even ask that question carries negative undertones. I don't want to derail this thread so let's leave it at this.

Im pretty sure the fact that he lost 7 games, 3 years in a row was the reason Texas boosters didn't like him. But go ahead and make everything about race.

@Notamultitasker

The statement was put out less than year after Strong got the job. The claim had no basis at the time. Especially when you consider what Strong had just did at UL.

Negative undertones? Don’t get ****y because I asked a pointed question.

If you can’t defend the fact that Strong hasn’t had any success since his UT failure then you shouldn’t had responded.

And the same goes for Herman. Can he recapture what made him successful at Ohio State and Houston? So far, the answer has been no. He’s in the NFL as an analyst.

People think that coaching skill is evergreen. It’s not. Otherwise, Shannon and a slew of failed HC’s would go right back into Coordinating and recapture success.
