And it’s not a matter of multi-tasking, it’s a matter of limited transfers available, CB is a higher priority than another Hybrid. When you only have 7 transfers that can be added, you have to be prudent with who you choose to bring in.

CB supersedes our need for a Safety, so get a CB.

They've added 3 transfers so far. A CB supersedes our need for an injury prone WR too and yet it still happened and had been in the works for weeks. It also was more important than getting a RB and Parrish is in the fold. They're clearly looking to add to the overall depth of the roster while also targeting clear weaknesses. We don't know if Harrell is capable. I'm not even sure we know how capable Smith is in a new defense.

I'm not even on the trust Mario stuff but Brini's been getting crushed here since his high school days and yet he started 11 games for the champs as a senior. Not even sure that's an insult like you made it seem. I'm just not gonna be completely against a potential move because of his status 5 years ago and bringing him in isn't gonna keep them from getting a corner.

We're a bad defense, lack depth and talent and need the bodies. We're counting on guys like Balom and Harrell. Two haven't played much. If you can add a 5th-year guy who started for a better defense and have the spots that doesn't seem like a problem to me.

Balom is legit and I agree with adding experience and talent but not at Safety. I'd use that spot in the trenches.

Frierson is better than Brini as a player to me.

Also Keontra Smith honestly is a striker/db position, he aint a Linebacker but played there and was our best 1 probably.

He’s lost every starting job he’s had to lower ranked QB’s...

Kedon Slovis a 3-star took his job at USC & Stetson Bennett a walk-on JUCO transfer took his job at UGA.

JT Daniels has been overrated his entire career.

Ok since you keep harping on it..and since @Liberty City El tried ot say it in a smoother way.

Brini wasnt good enough to play here in high school as a fit, He started this year at UGA but it still doesnt matter as he is the same talent wise as the depth guys we would have at his position. Saying he played at UGA doesnt mean much to us....as Lawrence Cager was thrown on his *** from here Jazzy Jeff style and walked over there and became wr1. They arent all world at every position.

WE DONT HAVE A NEED FOR A DB WITH BRINI'S SKILLSET. In my opinion.

I understood what he was saying. He didn't say it any more smooth than you are. Don't really care about 4 years ago. When he was first recruited we were a 4-3 defense that didn't have a star position/nickel. You talking about Frierson who took a step back and Smith who played LB this year. Not sure why anyone is so confident that some of these players on last year's defense are good to go. The only player who has gotten more snaps at that position is Frierson. If Brini takes the same type of snaps that Carter got I don't see the problem. And if he gets beat by this alleged depth that we have so what? Been pointed out earlier that we have the spots.

Our three current transfers were all part time players. Two of three were guys Miami didn't prioritize the first time around. The third is someone who stays injured. This where we are in terms of talent on the roster.

Cager left on his own when Richt retired from what I remember. Coley was the OC at UGA and Coley was his OC for the first half of his career at Miami. He wasn't thrown out.
