Trajan Bandy is ****ed

Posting your 4.5 40 time when you are 5'9" 185lbs to refute the small and slow claims isn't exactly refuting those claims.

It's a little worse than that, unfortunately. At the combine Bandy measured in at just under 5'8", just under 30" arms, and 180 lbs. He did 10 reps on the bench, and then did not participate in the vertical, broad jump, or three cone. Didn't do them at his Pro Day either. RAS was in the 2s.

Joe Haden ran a 4.52 at 10lbs heavier and 2 inches taller and was a first team All-American.
Honey Badger ran a 4.5 flat, but played safety and was a Heisman Trophy Finalist.

Bandy isn't in the NFL for a lot of reasons, one of which is because he is small and slow.
No Haden ran in the 4.6s at the combine. He ran that 4.52 at his pro day. 4.50 isn’t slow. Corn elder was 5’9 183 and ran a 4.55 and he got 6 years in the league. So once again bandy speed isn’t the issue

DMoney sold us on a lot of bull**** with Alonzo Highsmith. His role must’ve been a novelty/symbolic hire, like being the Queen of England. Just because he was a good NFL scout doesn’t mean he would bring more legitimacy to our program or make it run more like an NFL program. Recruiting 17 year olds and scouting them is totally different than what an NFL exec in the scouting department has to do. I wasn’t sold on the hype at all when we brought him on board. Pure bull**** from the beginning.
I think it’s fair to have criticisms of Zo, but not sure how anything between him and Bandy would offer us evidence about his success at UM one way or the other.

We don’t even know when these screenshots were taken — since we see both the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots being discussed. If anything, Zo gave him the honest truth that Bandy did not want to believe.

Bandy is asking AJ about getting a workout in Tennessee (AJ was hired in may 2024) despite not being in football for the past five years. He is down bad.

I mean he cant really bite the hand that feeds him by spinning it into a negative probably will cut CiS access by not being a yes man. Also network traffic drives his business. CiS traffic was probably booming when Zo was brought in to right the ship.

Post your references, I'm seeing 4.52 officially, 4.57 unofficially at the combine for JH.

If you don't think size and speed was an issue for Trajan Bandy before we talk about any of the other issues he has, I'm not sure what to tell you. He's small and slow.

He just straight up couldn't play in the league, size and speed are two major reasons for it.

Sorry I should’ve clarified that my criticism of Alonzo Highsmith has nothing to with this Trajan Bandy stuff. I just always got the vibe that his influence on our team was overstated and overrated by the fan base.

Familiar with the situation. These kids get all kinds of horrible advice. He had a bad junior year, then you have a bad combine (4.50 is cool if you're 6'1+, horrible if you're 5'7) then you interview terribly. In hindsight, he shouldn't have even came to UM, he was battling all kinds of off the field drama while he was here.

He either needs to get his body right and go to some XFL/CFL tryouts, or he needs to put on a tie & apply for a county job like a few other Cane washouts did

Guy went to Columbus and UM. Had the chance to change his life even if it wasn’t in football. Yet here he is airing out his dirty laundry/sour grapes all over social media. Somebody should have taught him better.

Many of these kids only listen to people who tell them everything thing they want to hear not what they need to hear.
They road yo the NFL isn’t for everyone, I always use X as my example .
Not many players at all trained with X it’s a road less traveled meaning you have to give up everything so you can do you can gain everything.
It’s very lonely you even give up Holidays with family even trips home all for training physically and mentally for the crucible no social life even friends are put on back burner for your dream.

How many kids choose to get up a 4:00- 4:30 every morning for years knowing by 6:00 you’ll probably be vomiting your breakfast on some field alone doing crabs or squat thrusters up snd down the field.

How many takers in doing this ?

Well imagine X’s joy and his mother when they hear “ With the ? pick in the 2025 NFL Draft picks Restrepo “ and X and his mother cry in each others arm as X steps on stage.

How many kids say to themselves “ Oh my God why didn’t I take up X offer to train with him “

As in the Bandys of the world who had everything yet left everything for nothing
