Training Camp Progress Update - Rousseau

When he locks out his arm while bending the corner the T can’t reach him to get his hands in GR. It’s pretty impressive

I was really surprised to see people putting Phillips above Rousseau. I understand this is preseason, but still.

Although, Phillips is learning a harder position, replacing Kyle Van Noy.

Anyone watch the Bills? Just curious what's up with Rousseau? He started on fire but i don't think he's had a sack or many impact plays since.

Honestly, I thought why isn't he getting every snap. I've watched some of their games but it is noticable he gets less than starter snaps.

CanesInsight dot com once again trying to dunk on takes early? You don't say.

btw - related/unrelated? but Quincy Roche has 20 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the Giants this year and, for one, think thats awesome. On some of his highlight worthy plays, you see the same exact guy that played here at Miami, showing that same skillset. A lil bit of everything. A lot of tools in the toolbox.

He’s starting every game for an elite defense.

Beast against the run, still developing his pass rush as expected. I think they should move him around more like the Dolphins do with Jaelan Phillips.
I watch a lot of Bills games and I don't see him in as much as he should be? Seems like he's still more situational? I could be wrong but just an observation

Aha!

I found out why his production dipped. Err, at least found more context...

Look at the depth chart. The bills defensive line -- particularly at defensive end -- is stacked with starter level depth throughout.

The kid put the NFL on notice to a certain level. And it's only up from here!
