I'd love it if that's how it plays out. But Haden was a much more violent (and better) tackler than Howard. Haden came in as a freshmans laying lumber.

agree...haden much more physical. tracy is a pure cover guy/nothing wrong with that doe

I'd like to see Tracy Howard have 3 Pick 6's against the Noles & VT

I was thinking the same thing. Ideally 2 against Noles. Help ruin Famous Amos for next year too.

Winston doesn't exactly drill the ball in there. Anything over 20 yards the ball takes some time getting there. He also seems to be a first read qb. There will be opportunities against him to make plays.
Just have to make them.

That's a fantastic comparison. I actually made the same comparison when Howard was getting recruited and I still like it.

Haden is one of the best corners in the NFL and he does it as much with attitude and balls, as he does athletic ability. Some guys just know how to stand across from a wide receiver, and do everything necessary to keep him from getting the ball. **** a 40, **** a short shuttle, just keep the ball out of his hands.

Haden is more physical, but Howard brings it too. He definitely plays and hits fearlessly. He just needs a bit more time in the weight room.

I hate to I told you so...I was privileged to make a fall practice in Aug...Tracey worked our Wrs like they were his *******...they guy is special REAL special..he is not just getting pics he is getting BIG TIME PICS..GAME SAVING PICS.

Howard has proven to be very good at coming up in run support.

Howard is fearless no doubt. However, I remember specifically Haden's first game on a big stage against Auburn in prime time on national TV. He was smashing dudes on tackles. He was violent and reckless with his body, and Howard, as much as I love him, has never been that way.

I am curious.

We've obviously had a TE go "crazy" on us this year (Ebron).
But has there been a WR that has had a "breakout" game against
our CBs this year ?

Not trying to over hype our guys but I can't think of one......

We haven't really played a great offense yet. The FSU game, I am really gonna have my eye on him. I want to see how he holds up against their athletes. TH is always in the right spot.

Yep. Haden is built like a linebacker, no denying that. Tracy got here he was a skinny skinny kid which is why I loved seeing him play so gutsy. He's certainly behind Haden from a physical standpoint at the same point but I'm really hoping Tracy is on that path. When/if his body catches up with his heart, Howard will be a special player regardless what his combine #'s are.
