Toryque Bateman Over Telfort?

No offense to Telfort, but fck him. If he's so interested in UM then why the fck did he de-commit and then commit to POS UF? Fck anyone who jilts this U for UF. If he was unsure, he should have just committed and kept his options open.

Ill still take him...no ones a vator or cane till nsd

Am I the only one who sees this as him using an excuse to pick UF?
He's already committed to UF... If anything he's looking for a reason to flip, we just don't wanna give him one for whatever reason.

I think his interest in miami is because his mom. I think he wants to stick with uf.
He's a city kid 100%, he absolutely likes Miami, but we're not going after him that hard, so he'll stick with UF.

But trust me, if we were really after him, he would flip.

So El, the gates high on the kid and we not? He would flip if we pressed? With the state of our OL why wouldn't one of the top tackles in SoFl be a take. Why are they gambling with improving the OL by not flipping the kid and risk missing out on some others? Are their some silents or other top Olinemen they convinced they can get or just set on not bringing in kids just to fulfill needs.

well with Donaldson, Leatherwood, and Telfort all being early enrollees the staff is playing the odds they can flip someone and hold on to Donaldson. Telfort is playing recruiting games and will end up losing his spot in Miami's class because he wants attention.

Telfort was committed to Miami at one point so to be playing games about he wants more contact from the staff is ridiculous he should flip already and be out trying to help Miami recruit other Florida kids for the 2017 class such as Alex Leatherwood and Slaton (an if not Slaton then OG Caleb Chandler). Telling kids like Jerry Jeudy (or OOS kids like Smith & Holloman) come to Miami with us (Donaldson, Telfort, and the other Olinemen) and we will protect Brad Kaaya long enough to get you the ball regularly.

An I prefer Telfort over Bateman the silver lining in this whole thing is that Batemen is not an EE and as such has said he will make his college choice on his B-Day January 28th, so the issue with Telfort will have been resolved by then.

You had me at fck him. I hope he takes offense. We don't have time for his baby shît. He should've been representing for his City, helping to raise this U up not playing games. I can't waste my time on homegrown kids playing us, with Richt as our HC, against F$U and the Gayturds.

Classic Paranos post...All that's missing is a video...and possibly a diagram.

Edit: There actually is a video highlight included. (The diagram was a joke.). Well done P-Man!

I really like Bateman, that's a big dude. But like Paranos said, the EE is very important and that just puts Telfort ahead of him. That being said, I think they both have about the same ceiling and potential. I'd rather have the EE and South Florida kid.

But if he's looking for attention, which he obviously is considering he's realeased a top 10, top 8, and top 5 all while committed to UF... **** it. Move on to the next guy

I've read a couple places that Bateman has grade issues. I wouldn't count on him. However, it is noteworthy that Wisconsin offered him AFTER filling up their OL class (which is all in-state kids btw). UW is not easy to get into so I'm guessing it was a conditional offer and that they may try to squeeze him in late if he makes the grades.

Also, the Telfort slander needs to stop, he's a stud. Shannon has owned Norland since he's been at UF and Telfort was still there when he committed. Nothing more nothing less. I personally don't think he's "playing games" w his recruitment either. You guys act like he's the only kid to ever name Top schools while committed somewhere. Just accept it, that's what recruiting is nowadays. It's not getting better anytime soon so just take it for what it is and move on.

Personally I really hope we flip him. He has reshaped his body dramatically since his JR year and gets better every time out. He also is a true LT imo. Can't let guys like that get away. Last cycle UF flipped Jawaan Taylor from us and he's starting as a true freshman at RT...let's not make the same mistake again.

Telfort is coming off like a chick with his lists and flips and calls for attention from a school he already flipped from. Those types don't generally pan out too well in the trenches.

"That dog in him" factor has slipped to a 3 (and that's on a 10 scale).

So Bateman just told me that he will be visiting officially. He has not sorted out the weekend yet, but seems like his interest is serious.

He said Miami coaches have told him that he is very high on their board and he appears to be a take. Trying to interview him later

Pete, do you believe that he is a take over Telfort?

One thing I like about this staff if your looking they're looking too . This staff is not going to sit around for Telfort to make his mind up . Either jump on board or some body else will . Fck him wished we would go after chandler harder too .

the golden staff did that way too many times. then we wind up with the plan D kids.

Telfort an elite talent hooe we start back recruiting him fck whatever yall talking about

Same. Kid is clearly intrinsically motivated as evidenced by his weight loss and continued and rapid skill development. Love those kinds of players. Can't teach 6'7" either...

EDIT: I still don't understand how we seemingly backed off LA OT Adrian Ealy. It was basically us and Oklahoma and then we slowed communication. **** of a player imo, not someone I would pass on that is very attainable.

Yes. And I don't agree with it.

I've posted for months that Miami did not really like Telfort as a prospect. This is not something new.

The kid is like 30 minutes up the road from me ... Here 6-foot-8 Gadsden City OL Toryque Bateman looking to earn Alabama offer at camp | AL.com

Didn't realize the kid was from Alabama. They've got a big test this week against Hoover.
